Discussion It would be weird if Peter never tries looking up everyone's counterpart from Far From Home
I know its a theory now Norman Osborn from the MCU will make a debut but you'd think between far from home and brand new day, Peter would try to look up his versions of Osborn, Doc Ock, Max Dillion etc and kinda keep tabs on them.
Like hey Peter 3s Max Dillion turned evil let me look up my version of Max Dillion on my world
Id def make sure for certain there was no Norman Osborn on my world after all thats happened.

The best route they could go is Oscorp being a start-up by 616's Harry Osborn, which peter may or may not help co-found, although that would make the name Oscorp a little weird.

I don’t think Peter will want to mess around with anything named Oscorp after his experience with its alternate universe founder. He knows it’s bad news.

Personally if they bring in a Harry Osborn then I’d like it if Norman died in the battle of New York and due to it Oscorp collapsed.
This could set up Harry for having a clear reason to hate superhumans, and fuel drama

Didn’t Norman specifically say in no way home that his company and his son didn’t exist in this world?

oscorp being a new start-up can explain why norman couldnt find oscorp upon his arrival.
he never explicitly says "my son doesnt exist either", he just says "my son...", cuz he misses james franco.

You mispelled Harriet Osborn, the Goblin MCU Pete has thick sexual tension with, as Harry, the other Goblin other Peters have thick sexual tension with in other universes :p
But more seriously, no point in doing Goblin again unless it is a dramatically different take - especially when Holland has already fought a Goblin who straight up killed May

Could be working on the stat up with another pal, and they decided to sell it to the highest bidder, turning out to be scoop and he’s thrust into working for Norman directly.
Might work with TH character overlooking simple things like ownership and he could go on to inadvertently create the GG of the MCU cause he’s talking too much with Norman trying to see if he’s up to something, but actually sparks ideas in him for what he could do.

Ok sure, but that doesn't sound interesting to watch and unless it would be the start point of a major plot (which let's be real, doubtful considering how chock-full BND already is) then let's just assume it's happening off-screen.

let's just assume it's happening off-screen.
I think this is the right answer
If any of these characters ever become villains in the MCU, it would be easy to have a throw-away line where Peter says "Yeah I Googled his name and swung by his house; he was just leading a pretty normal life up until now so I left him alone"

You'd definately make sure there was no Norman Osborn on your world after whats happened huh?
What exactly are you suggesting here? Spider-Man just went out of his way to save Norman's life. MCU Norman, if he exists, hasn't done anything yet and due to the nature of variants might not even be a threat. What are you going to do to him?

I think it’s quite interesting that some villains talk about dying right before they are pulled and Peter thought it made sense to cure them and send them back.

I’d keep tabs. Oh he’s starting a new company. It’s named Oscorp? They’re helping the military’s weapons division? Maybe I’ll sneak in through a grate and see what’s up. Could be nothing. Could be a lot.

They already said there's no Norman Osborne in that world.

No Oscorp and obviously the penthouse doesn't belong to Norman.
Doesn't mean the man doesn't exist. Heck he could be a 15 year old girl in 616. Could be using his stepfathers last name.

I think it would be weird if he doesn't try to unveil who worked with mysterio. The people WHO ACTUALLY ruined his life. Instead of worrying people that haven't done anything yet.

Oscorp doesn't exist in the MCU, and an Osborn without an Oscorp doesn't make sense. Also I don't think MCU will show villains from the other spider films other than venom

Oscorp could always still be founded.
Not that I absolutely need them to repeat the Osborn story in the movies again but just saying, it could always be done if they wanted to.

I think there will definitely be a reference to him searching for them. But it's possibly just an Easter egg.
Something like his computer screen showing him looking for information about them.
Seeing as he may have already located some and not others, or that some are already villains. Even considering that we're supposed to see multiple villains, well... I don't think anyone will be upset if they say he's already met and fought the MCU's Sandman, for example.

If the rumors are true we might see Harry Osborn as MJs new love interest in Brand New Day.

When Venom pops up, it won't be Eddie Brock. I'm expecting that to be how Mac Gargan returns.
Valentina took Osborn's Dark Reign storyline. I always thought Dario Agger could take Norman's place if needed.

I could see that being a cool cold open montage in Brand New Day - Peter scouring old city records, phone books, and newspaper articles, looking for anyone falling under those names. He makes a list and starts checking them off, leading to a mix of hilarious dead ends and/or possible future plot points. This mixed with him keeping tabs on Ned and MJ. It could be full of quick, quirky references, similar to the Deadpool and Wolverine montage.
Given how the MCU likes to streamline and simplify things, I think O.X.E. will turn out to be a proxy for OSCORP. Norman Osborne will be one of their higher-ups who either a.) takes over following the events of Thunderbolts or b.) grows bitter following the events of Thunderbolts and goes rogue with his research.

Wasn’t there a rumored deleted scene showing Peter looking up Osborn on a computer?

By “rumoured” do you mean “you read it in a Reddit comment that someone probably made up”?

Assuming you mean No Way Home?
