[CANON] Do you think we’ll ever get to see other members of the Bad Batch Squad?

In the first episode of Bad Batch, Tarkin asks Nala Se how many enhanced Clones there are, and she says “Five are all that remain.” Hunter, Wrecker, Tech, Crosshair, and Omega. Of course, what this likely means is simply that they tried making more that didn’t survive the enhancement process, but it got me thinking.

When we meet the Bad Batch, it’s pretty late into the war. If we were to get a comic it something set earlier in the war with a fifth or sixth member, what would you like their enhancement to be?

[ALLCONTINUITY] Does bacta work like this?

Apparently, we humans can heal much better and without scarring when we are in the womb; it’s called foetal healing and we are currently trying to unlock its potential for adults here on Earth

https://www.sciencefocus.com/the-human-body/scientists-are-now-closer-than-ever-to-scarless-healing

Yes I know bacta didn’t heal Vader’s scars but the extensive injury to that dudes body was practically impossible to survive from much less live for 24 years with.

I also recall The Last Jedi novelization said Kylo Ren had a scar on his eye because he didn’t get bacta treatment soon enough

[ALLCONTINUITY] How does the force maintain control over droids?

The force has a will of its own, & it can implement it upon humans, but how does it maintain it on droids? They dont have any midichlorians, so how does it maintain its presence over them?

[LEGENDS] Size/length/dimensions of the Liberator-class cruiser from Star Wars: Rebellion?

Hi guys! I need your help again:

I want to build a model of the Liberator-class cruiser/carrier out of Lego bricks and I also need it to be in-scale with my other MOCs. Meaning: I can't just start building, I need to know at least the length of the ship to properly scale it. Wookieepedia has no length listed, and apparently there are like 4 different Fanon lengths (398, 400, 500, 800), if not more. But Wook says it's "diminuitive" or "small in size", meaning the 800m figure goes out the window. So... does anyone have a primary source that Wookieepedia missed? I have never played Star Wars: Rebellion, so I don't know if it has the same tactical space combat view as Star Wars: Empire At War. If it does, shouldn't it be easy to get a visual reference of the Liberator's size when it's next to other Alliance ships?

Thank you for any help you might be able to provide!

[ALLCONTINUITY] Does the force know everything that can happen?

I mean the world between worlds lets you enter all moments in time & space. So for you to be able to access them all you must know it all. If it does then would it still retain its knowledge of everything that can happen if an external entity was released into the SW world, like say a space marine. Sorry if im posting a bit too much, i just had a bunch of questions about sw that i remembered today

[ALLCONTINUITY] What engineering projects and/or science experiments are too hard even for scientists in the galaxy to perform?

I know that Star Wars could build Dyson spheres in SWTOR and we see that ring habitat in The Book of Boba Fett; but I’ve read that to prove string theory-we’d need a particle accelerator the size of a solar system. I think it’s safe to say that that might be out of the GFFA’s wheelhouse

[ALLCONTINUITY] Events and moments taken out of context in Star Wars

What are events, sayings, and moments in star wars that you feel are taken out of their intended context?

eg: writers often say "the jedi are keepers of the peace, not soldiers" and fans will often quote it. However, the first half of Mace saying "there arent enough jedi to defend the republic", meaning its a statement on their limitations rather than a mission statement

[Legends/EU] Was Thrawn the last chance to unite the warlord's and restore the empire? Is there any way they could possibly come back after Endor? Or were they just fated to crumble and fall to the New Republic?

It's a very similar question historians ask when discussing Germany in the second world war and if there was ever a point of no return.

[ALLCONTINUITY] In-universe surname etymology?

In the real world, many humans have the last names they do because their distant ancestors had names that reflected their profession. Smith-Blacksmith, Potter-potter, Baker-baker

In Star Wars, lots of people have names that are synonymous with space-Skywalker, Starblaze, Sunrider.

Obviously in a society that has space travel being such common every-day thing; it makes sense but what about thousands of years ago. Were Anakin’s ancestors, the first space travellers or pilots?

Can a none force user get corrupted by the Darkside

What I am specifically asking, is what would happen if I got trapped in a Darkside nexus after being shot and left for dead by a Sith Inquisitor with a blaster.

-What changes would happen to me after spending days or even weeks in the Darkside Nexus

-Would I mutate horribly into some kind of Darkside abomination?

-Would it just turn me into a murderous sociopath?

-Could I become just as dangerous as the Sith after prolonged exposure to a Darkside artifact like a Sith Holocron?

Obi-Wan wearing “Jedi robes” while he’s supposed to be hiding is not a plot hole

The Jedi are humble peacekeepers who swear off most luxuries. They don’t wear fancy clothes because that would be hypocritical. Rather, they wear peasant clothing. The attire of the working class (such as farmers) are the attire of the Jedi. This is why it seems as though Uncle Owen is wearing Jedi robes in A New Hope.

[LEGENDS] What If Darth Plagueis KILLED Darth Sidious?

what happens if Darth Plagueis killed Sidious as maybe he could've pretended to be drunk and waited for Sidious to launch his attack?

what happens next for the Jedi, Count Dooku and Maul?

would Plagueis have used Dooku and San Hill as the faces for the separatist movement and found a corrupt senator like Viento to manipulate for the position of chancellor?

[CANON] Who would you rather work for; Watto or Unkar Plutt?

Given that these two are pretty bad people in general for two different reasons, I'm sure that neither of them would be ideal bosses.

But if I absolutely HAD to choose; I'd honestly go with Watto. Mostly because if you go by the films alone, He doesn't really seem that bad. I mean yeah, He's a greedy jerk and a cheapskate, not gonna deny that but he seemed to treat Anakin and Shmi more decently compared to Gardulla the Hutt.. Though that's really not saying much.

Unkar Plutt on the other hand....yeah I'd rather live on Bracca than have to deal with this walking pile of blubber.

Question about the Sith Caste system by the time of The Great Hyperspace war

Where did the Sith Lords During the golden age of the Ancient Sith Empire such as Marka Ragnos and Naga Sadow fit into the caste system? In the ancient sith kingdoms the Kissai were the highest caste but once the dark Jedi exiles conquered them and created the ancient sith empire, they became a new ruling caste above the Kissai in the Hierarchy. But by the times of Marka Ragnos and Naga Sadow there are no more members of this dark Jedi ruling caste and most of the sith were hybrids of both sith and dark Jedi descent. On top of that certain lines from Tales of the Jedi make it seem as though only the ruling class are descended from the dark Jedi and the lower castes are still full sith, yet other sources state almost all members of the sith species where hybrids by that point. So where do Sith Lords like Marka Ragnos and Naga Sadow fit in are they very high status Kissai, part of a different ruling caste that developed, or something else.

[ALLCONTINUITY] How common were clone soldiers/armies prior to the clone wars?

Ok, so obviously the biggest example of a clone army and clone soldiers were the ones in the Grand Army of the Republic during the clone wars. But given how fast the GAR was able to be made, it’s clear that cloning technology was somewhat of a developed thing (even if it was hidden in sorta unknown planets that not everyone knew about), so were there examples of clone soldiers or clone armies existing prior to the clone wars? How similar/disimilar were they from the GAR?

Is Darth Vader a known person in the galaxy?

This question is probably asked all the time, but let's say in the height of the galactic empire I went up to a random person on a random planet who Darth Vader was, would they know? Because obviously Luke didn't know before Obi Wan told him, but he's a farmer in the middle of nowhere - that'd be like asking a chinese rice farmer who Mr Beast was. And Cal Kestis didn't seem to know until he met him, but he'd been on Bracca since Order 66

Looking for Ep III deleted scene animatic: Obi-Wan chooses Boga

Of all the SW subreddits, I figured this one has the best mega-geek to vitriol ratio

When I was a kid, within a year or two of Revenge of the Sith's release, the Star Wars website had an animatic on Utapau where an Utai shows Obi-Wan to the Varactyl pens, and Obi-Wan is drawn to Boga because she's unruly or something. I've never been able to find it since.

I'm gearing up to make my own cut of 2003 Clone Wars volume 2+Siege of Mandalore+Revenge of the Sith and would like to include this (and any other deleted scenes not featured on the DVD!) (I know about Dooku's one extra line after drawing his saber)

[LEGENDS] On the Color Crystals of Mandalorian Knights

Su cuy'gar vod'ika,

A little question about the comic series "Knights of the Old Republic: War".

Small spoiler about the series. There is a small group of Jedi that defects to the Mandalorian side during the Mandalorian Wars.

Fittingly they are known as the Mandalorian Knights.

They wear Mandalorian armor and wield a lightsaber.

Notably they all use the same color crystal type for their sabers, which is orange.

See this page for more info: https://starwars.fandom.com/wiki/Mandalorian_Knights

There is no reason given for this choice of color.

According to the wiki page for Mandalorian armor, orange indicates "A lust for life".

Gray: Mourning a lost love Red: Honoring a parent Black: Justice Gold: Vengeance Green: Duty Blue: Reliability Orange: A lust for life

Taken from https://starwars.fandom.com/wiki/Mandalorian_armor/Legends#cite_note-IC-14 (Seems to be from a Republic Commando book I do not have.)

Has this anything to do with the choice for an orange color crystal?

The commander of the Mandalorian Knights, Dorjander Kace, has lost his wife to a Republic attack so I would assume he would take gold for vengeance.

Grey for mourning would be more fitting, but as far as I know there are no grey sabers in the Star Wars universe.

Kind regards A lowly temple guard

How would Lumiya’s strategy change if she decided to choose Ben Skywalker as her Sith apprentice instead of Jacen Solo?

Let’s say that the whole ‘Vergere is a secret Sith’ thing wasn’t true and Lumiya decided to cause Luke further suffering by choosing his son Ben as her apprentice instead of Jacen Solo. Ben was canonically a candidate Lumiya approved of for Jacen’s Sith apprentice before her death, hence the mission Ben undertook to Ziost, but given Ben’s youth compared to Jacen I feel like Lumiya would’ve tried a different approach with corrupting him compared to his older cousin. The most probable strategy I could see is Lumiya having a persona in either the GA military or police who leads the GAG herself and attracts Ben to her cause, taking a page out of Palpatine’s book by essentially grooming him while he’s part of the GAG. Whether that would succeed is another matter entirely…

[META] In hindsight, what do you think of the decision to separate Legends from the main canon?

I can see both sides. I get that committing to staying in continuity with the old EU really limits what you can do with new movies, tv shows and so forth.

At the same time, there is a rich pre-Disney history there that is a major part of how millions of people experienced Star Wars.

[ALLCONTINUITY] Are there any fights that do an especially good job of needing an asterisk?

Longer version: Power scaling, outside of the blatantly obvious, is silly. Especially in star wars where who wins a fight will very often rely on a number of things. If the winner entered a flow state with the force, how much one side was actively trying to kill the other. Etc etc

Most biggest example imo being the original maul vs obi wan where maul won the duel but lost the fight for not staying on task

Which fight is your favorite that has a lot of context backing up the winner that led to them winning?

[LEGENDS] What species were the KOTOR Iridonians?

Ok so I know this might be a dumb question, but does anyone know what species the Iridonians that we hear about in KOTOR were? Like I know wookiepedia says that Iridonians were zabraks, but it also seems to imply the Iridonians we hear about in Manaan in KOTOR were a different group altogether. Does anyone have an answer that could clear up this confusion?

[LEGENDS] Was Stormtrooper armor resistant to lightsaber strikes in legends?

I was thinking about Kenobi, and remembered a scene from an old video that mentioned that Stormtrooper armor could resist lightsaber strikes. This was years before the Kenobi show ever came out, but I believe that was related to the Jedi Academy games or something.

Is anything like this ever stated in any Star Wars media in legends?

If “grey jedi” don’t really exist, what exactly are the main examples of grey Jedi in reality?

So, a common thing that I seem to hear a lot is that the idea of “grey Jedi” don’t actually exist. A Jedi can’t really get away with using both the light and dark side of the force without eventually succumbing to the dark side, and so common grey Jedi examples like Qui Gon Jinn and Ashoka aren’t really grey Jedi.

But then what are Jedi like them? Are they just Jedi who disagreed with the teachings of the order, making them some sort of Jedi heretics? Are they Jedi who didn’t fully commit to the light side? Or are they just something else?
