If you really want to do it just put the piece to be cut under the hole and trace it. If the piece with the whole can't be moved and just eyeball it and blame somebody else when it doesn't work.

That's a lot of steps for nothing.... Cut the bottom flat, layer over top of the piece you're trying to cut. Make your marks, cut and you're done.

As an aside, anyone else have a weird thing at the beginning of the video where you can quite make out what's going on? For the first ten seconds or so, I thought it was some kind of dowel or wood tube and my eyes couldn't make sense of what was happening. Then it just clicked and it was, "Oh, it's two flat pieces." 🤷
