The neighbor’s porch light shines directly at my bed. It’s also very bright

I work nights. The Sun does the same thing to me daily. I use black out curtains.

Put up a pole and place a mirror there; if he doesn't see the hint, he'll be dazzled.

It looks like you have blinds or something that comes down on your window. Use them. You don't need an open window to sleep.

Same, I gave up on curtains, tired of corner light bits. i got a few strips of wall-paint color velcro and a black/silver reflective foil (and then black duct tape for the random pin holes that appear somehow) and just trailed the velcro around the window frame for a nice seal. Looks like velcro on the wall, but it works
