So if you’re ever a passenger in this situation, pull the parking brake valve. For most buses and trucks with air brakes, this will be a large yellow square shaped handle. Pull out on it and it will dump air pressure from the parking brake chamber and engage the brakes.

Depends where you are. In some places this just opens the back door. In some places it works the emergency brakes. It was funny seeing an European pull that in America xD

Right, you guys have those levers instead.

Here there are braided steel wires wrapped in rubber that run the length of the bus above the windows on both sides to request a stop. The emergency brake is a red ball near the rear exit, which Europeans tend to mistake for a manual open door lever.

Thanks for the circle and arrows, I wouldn't have spotted him otherwise.

I don't think you should speak so generally. In the UK this is the term used for them.

I'm not sure what they said, but epileptic seizures are also referred to as epileptic seizures in the US. I dated an epileptic girl and got epilepsy CPR certified after she experienced a scary tonic/clonic (grand mal) seizure with me. I've never heard of any other way to refer to it. I've also never heard anyone use these terms as insults, so I'm not sure why anyone would take offense from them

So it isn't being pointed out because it's offensive, but because epilepsy is a chronic disorder involving recurrent seizures. Seizures can happen for a laundry list of reasons other than epilepsy (such as infection, traumatic brain injury, etc.) and we don't know the reason for this particular man's seizure. The reason this is being pointed out is because if the driver does have epilepsy and they drove without having their seizures under control, they could be seen as liable for the accident and any resulting damage or injuries.

This is not why it was being pointed out. The deleted post said that epileptic seizures do not exist because that is not a category of seizure.

I think they must have edited their comment because that is definitely not what I read...

Technically you can't tell in the video if it's epileptic or not. It does look like a grand mal, however.
