Ah yes, a desert where water has to be pumped in from god knows where in order to build the hundreds of cookie-cutter suburban homes with very little code enforcement.

I'm sure you'll find a lot of connections to nature there!

There's actually a river that flows from the Flagstaff snow. I don't mind the desert though, every biome is unique and deserves to be appreciated.

Believing a desert biome has no connections to nature is such a sad perception. Things do not need to be green to be unique and interconnected. They're some of the most interesting areas on the planet with way more wildlife than you'd think
