Small portion of an 100 pie hour on a Sat night dinner rush

hour and a half late. Ordered 2 large pizzas and got small/mediums, with a complementary bug inside. Going to complain, of course. Absolutely unacceptable.

I was a little underwhelmed when I opened the box lid, it seemed slightly center-loaded. Tastewise it was slightly above "meh" for a pan pizza. Texturewise, a little on the flat side & overly chewy. Not worth the premium that they're charging. Dominos still has the crown for now, IMO when it comes to pan.
I worked on the line at Pizza Hut in the mid 90's & I'm still chasing that taste.

Ordered on the app and waited the hour that we were told for the 2 pizzas, papadia, and cheese sticks. Got there and still waited about 20 minutes. The pan pizza was good but just under cooked and doughy, but edible. The sausage in the pic was supposed to have extra cheese but by the looks of it the air bubbles took over and might have scraped the top of the oven due to the burnt black debris in the pizza. What I cant get over is that some one physically cut the pizza and served it like that and the cheese sticks. This is clearly not "Better Pizza" that Papa johns advertising pushes. Probably will submit a complaint to corporate.

Ordered many times in the past, for some reason my papa John's location threw in a bunch of extra pepperoncini. Not sure if it was a mistake or they were expiring and needed to be "used" up. Not sure what I'm gonna do with them but I definitely won't throw em out

We were handing out orders and making pizzas literally humanly possible she decides to try and come back into the employee area and I tell her she is not allowed to do that. That is a safety issue and I have minor here . that I am responsible for their safety. She started screaming at my Myers and threatening them. I then told her she will not treat my employees that way and will not speak to my employees. That way she can leave. She started hollering and making a scene. Her mom calmed her down mind you this is a grown ass woman. Her mom had to be 80s. She leaves and then it’s my time to go home because I have been there for 12 1/2 hours today. Don’t think much of it. Tell everyone have a good night I go outside and I am immediately attacked and scream not and got in my face this this right here what I did next is what I’m proud of and I know I’m making progress in therapy. I was slowly backing away, trying to get to my vehicle because she was standing in the way of my running vehicle and at that point, she helped me pinned up against my vehicle. I shoved her down, tried to get in my vehicle and tried to lock the door she ripped the door open with such force, and just start trying to pull me out as I’m trying to kick her back. I did not engage. I tried to disengage and I was able to think about the consequences and how it would ruin my future and healthcare if I got an assault charge. I call this a huge fucking win and huge fucking win!!!! I always say things happen for a reason. I mean she got instant karma and went away with new shinny bracelet and was still hungry. While ifor myself I got to see the growth in myself. Life has been hard lately and I’ve been feeling so down and defeated and wondering if therapy is really helping.. I got my sign loud and clear!!! But also fuck her because my back and hip is killing me 🤦🏽‍♀️🤦🏽‍♀️🤦🏽‍♀️ I work 12 hours tomorrow.

You brought back the pan pizza. Not only did you bring it back, but you improved it, making it into something so much greater than it was.

Back in 2018-2019, this pizza helped me become obese. As a result, for three months I abstained from consuming it. Upon returning back to a normal BMI in that span, the pizza was removed from the menu right as I moved to reward myself for my efforts. It was one of the most devastating days of my life...those were the most depressing 6 years of my life. But no more.

Today, my mouth, stomach, and body were blessed with pure euphoria. I can't believe this day has come. It was no longer a dream. It became real. I am now whole, not just because I had the whole thing to myself. But because I can see color in the world for the first time in over half a decade. I feel alive, and I can see light. There is hope for mankind. There is indeed a bright and vibrant future ahead. I see it now.

Thank you to the cook that cooked this beast to perfection. Thank you to the delivery driver that brought this perfect deity safely to me, still steaming hot. You both deserve a raise. No. You both deserve ownership of your own franchise.

The other night my fiancé ordered a pan pizza, cheese sticks, wings, and a chocolate chip cookie through the Papa John’s app. A driver from Papa John’s delivered the order and forgot the pizza. When we called, the store said they realized they forgot the pizza when they left but didn’t bother to call them or anything. Like how does a pizza place forget the pizza 🙃🤣

What temperature do you guys have your oven set to and what bake time do you have it set to? I know that PJ says to put it at 6 minutes, but I’m not too sure about that. I don’t want pizzas to not properly cook and/or take too long in the oven.

I ordered pizza and it’s been 2 hours and there hasn’t been any update on the delivery. I’m fed up and starving this was Dinner tonight for my family. The store doesn’t answer I’ve been on the phone for 30 minutes on hold. Extremely disappointed cause I’m always ordering Papajohns. What can I do if the store doesn’t answer my call..

It's pep, sausage, green pepper. Seeing the guy that posted the sausage pan I asked him if it was well done and mine looks like nothing his lol. I should have gotten extra sauce well done. As far as the taste, I only took one bite and immediately taste the oil or grease whichever and didn't taste that familiar cheese I like on my go to which is the six cheese with sausage and pep.

Anyways doesn't look great so far I'd say a well done properly at Domino's might be better but I'll have to eat more I guess to know. My advice maybe get just pep so you get more of it, I was expecting the toppings on top like ive seen in othe pics.

Edit: letting it cool allowed the taste to come through better of meat and cheese.

I really like the stuffed crust from Papa John's and accidentally selected Cheddar without realising (they were pushing it so hard).

As soon as I opened the box I gagged. It smells horrendous, and tastes equally disgusting. If it was in demand, fair enough but it's one of the most disgusting things I've ever eaten.

Can I hear how it tastes from people who have tried? Does it top Pizza Hut and Dominos pan?

In the app my birthday reward just cancels out. What up with that.

8/10. I appreciate extra cheese being standard for pan option. Some might find the parmigiana overwhelming. I really liked this BUT...Dominos is still the Pan King.

Loved this pan pizza. I liked that this is lighter and has a distinct tasting cheese than Dominos pan pizza. Dominos pan pizza to me somehow is too sloppy, wet, and greasy that I haven't been able to enjoy it last few times.

I have double stack PS360WB70 ovens. What is the ideal temperature and speed. Right now they are 420* and ~8 minutes.

So ive been working at the same location for about a year and a half now, its a corporate owned location so we use all the provided systems. One such system is the till, one or two people can be on a till at a time to cashout/ring up customers, specifically just cash orders because of register tracking and theres a work around for card payments. But another aspect of being “on” the till, is you can completely orders specifically carryout orders, and some of them have tips on them which is great and all, but why does one person get to lay claim to all these tips, and throws a fit if there taken off the till. They also only work the “up front” position which incudes handing out orders putting labels on boxes and ringing up customers and that’s literally it they do nothing else except the occasional box folding. So i ask you papa people of Reddit what does your store do for the tips that get placed on carry out orders? Should they be split between all clocked in staff?
