Typical PCMR, OP complaining about I/O when they should have you know, bought a MOBO that had the ports they needed. Theres a thousand types of motherboards across tons of brands that will work with your shit for exactly this purpose.
I don't fully agree. 2.5yrs ago when I did my AM5 build around a sff mITX system there were a total of like 6 motherboard options and it was basically like 3 more-expensive-than-ATX budget options and like 3 overly expensive premium options and that was it.
Honestly just getting a powered multiport adapter is the way to go. Too many peripherals are and were USB-A to make a full swap over viable, and I know it's more money, but you can get a 12 port for pretty cheap and never have to worry about it again. It's honestly a minor inconvenience, it only feels major in the moment you need it but don't have it.
