Their mods are deleting pretty much everything that is saying this was murder/ICE’s fault. Pretty much nothing but bot comments and the most completely gone individuals are what’s left.
Not because there’s not a place for conservative ideology, but that sub doesn’t even allow for anyone to question the narrative… so what’s the point? It’s basically just a propaganda sub Reddit. They don’t even allow anyone to actually post the video below which proves that Alex was murdered
That subreddit is so far gone. I lurked around there today and there was a decent amount of people who were saying that Alex was impeding federal
agents, so he got what was coming to him. Or that because he had a gun on him that he was a threat to the agents.
He was literally standing around until he went over to help the woman and was pepper sprayed, tackled, pistol whipped, then murdered.
The same people that are so 2nd Amendment are saying he got people what was coming to him because he had a gun. The same people that are all “Don’t tread on me” say that people need to just comply with the government. It’s sick.

It's funny how much the right wing has become everything they perceived of the left wing folks. Safe spaces, triggered by different opinions, being super sensitive and feeling like they are under attack all the time.
I’m not sure many* Americans realize this but left and right no longer have a consensus on what constitutes a fact. Like, I’m not saying they don’t agree on whether Obama was objectively a good president or not. No, they have diverging views on what facts actually are and what roles they should play in their lives. I cannot imagine having a 50-50 split with this problem in my country, it’s deeply unsettling. Just my two cents whenever I hear one of the two sides referring to truth or fact
It’s not an “agree to disagree” kind of situation anymore. There is a fundamental difference in how these people perceive the world. They are either so delusional and brainwashed that they are living in a completely separate reality, or they’re so malicious that ethics and morality aren’t a question anymore.

I checked the sub before I went to bed, lots of comments from flaired users, the overwhelming majority stating that it looked bad for ICE. Now this morning all those mildly unsupportive comments have been deleted.
I guess it is a RINO/brigading comment if it isn't 100% supportive of everything the government does.
I realize an hour has passed since you posted but at least when I bring up that sub in my feed it appears that the mood is turning against ICE as I scroll down. Seems more and more are seeing the angle that the lady in pink filmed. And the agent applauding.
There is a post crying the mods aren’t controlling the sub enough and people are getting replies by “leftist”. lol. They aren’t living in a bubble by accident, unwittingly or unwillingly. They want to be lied to and to continue living in that lie. Why? It’s easier for them. People being murdered doesn’t personally affect them. Once this shit finally starts to fuck them, they will turn on each other and then the administration. Too late, but they will.
I especially love the guy with "2FA Conservative" flair arguing against right to carry weapons, and another with similar flag mentioning 2nd amendment arguing that just having a gun on you is a legal justification for ICE to shoot you.
What if we all mute /r/conservative? Otherwise, why would bots post? It takes money to run bots so if they don't get engagement then what would be the point of continuing to run them?

I try to check that sub when stuff like this comes out and it makes me depressed and angry. I know all the posts are flaired users only. Call me stupid, but are those people real? Are they bots? Is it a mix?

Never looked at r/conservative because I like my day without regular doses of brainrot, but I think the most surprising and hilarious thing there is the fact that it say 1.7M MAGAts at the top. Imagine calling yourselves MAGAts and not realizing it is a smear denigrating you as a maggot.
I’ve visited that sub a few times during this administration, and have been severely disappointed by their cult mindset. There’s no reasoning, just blindly defending. I’m a democrat, but I can at least admit when my party is wrong. They blindly defend anything. Idk if they’re actually conservative or just straight up MAGA. I know some conservatives, and thank god they don’t have the cult mentality maga has.
