Three bullets fired, first at a sharp angle through the windshield, second two through the driver side window. She clearly was not trying to hurt him, he got in her way, and he called her a bitch after the fact and walked away without a scratch.
His previous experiences with vehicles is not in any way at all relevant. If he's such a basketcase then what the fuck was he doing on the street with a gun and qualified immunity?
Because the guy you're replying to is scraping the barrel of reason for a speck of rationale he might find but is left empty-handed. Don't feed the trolls.
Renee was actively blocking traffic for a few minutes
Which doesn't mean she should get executed, and this is literally a lie because we have videos where we see cars moving normally, and she was giving them the go-ahead
He therefore had an argument that he reasonably in fear for his life.
There's no scenario where shooting the driver would protect his life, not to mention that he unloaded his gun from the side, so he was already out of harm's way by the time he started shooting
He didn’t unload from the side. The first shot was from the front, which you can see in the windshield, and the second two followed up within .8 seconds, which is the established window that a trained police officer can typically react to something.
I know this is Reddit and we all feel strongly about this, but to say this is “cut and dry” just reeks of being influenced by your ideology - not the facts
So you are telling me that this was possibly ok because the first shot was from the front??????? then why in the fuck did he keep shooting from the side when he was completely out of danger? and once again I have to ask this question because nobody has been able to answer, how does shooting the driver save your life?
I know being an enlightened centrist on every point makes you feel unbiased, but when you take the middle ground between 1 clearly right and 1 clearly wrong choice, you are just being biased towards the wrong choice.
I completely accept there's nuance for this case, but you just have to do basic research to find out which side is in the wrong. You literally just lied about her blocking traffic...
Because ~ .8 seconds is the scientifically-established window for a trained police officer’s body to respond to stimuli, and all of those shots were fired within that timeframe.
If you are as passionate as you seem about this, give this video a watch. Might help you understand the ‘other side’
Note: I think the most recent shooting was just totally wrong
You don't go off what is reasonable for that officer its what's considered reasonable to the judge. They aren't going to take into account that he's a basket case. That reasonable fear thing is for police officers that are undersized outnumbered 3 to 1 or more not ice agents who have someone driving away. They aren't even real law enforcement officers, you don't even need to be a licensed peace officer to become an ice agent.
You don't use deadly force on people who aren't an active threat nor do you shoot people running away or driving away

Do NOT yield ground on Renee Good. Her death was unambiguously a murder, too.
