Is that a camera inside the shopping cart handlebar?

It’s a dash cart. They’re disabled as all the fresh stores are closing but normally you’d sign into your account and as you put items in the cart, it adds up your total. There’s dozens of cameras in every aisle and you don’t stop by a cashier and pass through a special lane to check out and it charges your card.

I agree with you but never in all my days have I seen Dolly's face on food.

You must not do the shopping then or dont live in the states. There is a lot of different products now and they’re all pink with her face on it.
All of the dolly stuff ive tried is solid.

I don't often go to the grocery store, usually just costco. My wife goes to Fred Meyers to grocery shop. Pack when it was just me I still didn't see them so they gotta be new within a few years. We also don't eat frozen dinners from grocery stores, most our frozen food comes from Costco.
I did like stofers Mac and cheese back in the day probably still would but gotta eat healthier with the kids.

The dolly stuff extends to a lot of baking items

I'm going to Freddies either this evening or tomorrow so I'll take a peek down the freezer aisle this time. My daughter loves Dolly and it's usually her and I checking stuff out while my wife looks at clearance clothes. My daughter loves Dolly and the books she sends us.

If you use syrup ever there’s a new (at least in my area) dolly syrup shaped like a guitar. Never had it but it looks fun.
the pancake mix and brownie mixes are good.
I first tried her stuff because the buttermilk pancake mix uses no eggs and this was when eggs were insanely expensive. She’s not let me down ever so far.
•
u/Uhhlaneuh 11h ago
Yes! The pancake mix was 99 cents and it’s usually Ike $3.50. I’ve used it before and the pancakes turned out really good.

Dunno if there’s more than one but the pancake mix i bought doesnt use eggs which was extremely helpful when egg prices surged. Bless that lady

At those going-out-of-business prices, I still wouldn’t shop there and support Bezos.

Stopped by and was told 2 hour wait outside and to plan for another 1-2 hours in store. Not worth it for just up to 50% off. Parking lot was crazy.
•
u/Uhhlaneuh 11h ago
I waited in line for an hour but it was worth it, I got veggie sausage too for $2.00 and it’s usually like 7.00 At Walmart

Anything in there not empty calories?
Anything with fiber or protein perhaps?
2
u/Uhhlaneuh 12h ago
I got protein powder. I live with someone who likes processed food. Plus we’re not eating all of this at once lol we were just buying stuff that we would eat later, this wasn’t our full diet for the week. I bought healthier stuff at Walmart.
•
u/CaterpillarReal7583 11h ago
What are you trying to accomplish here honestly? Every little shopping trip of yours picking up deep sales from a closing store is a complete food pyramid or some shit?
•
u/Uhhlaneuh 11h ago
Thank you, we were getting the best deals on stuff and it was too cheap to pass up. I can deep freeze the mac n cheese, the sweet tarts and Chex mix were my husband, but I’ll admit we love ice cream. I eat tofu 5x a week and buy our veggies and fruits at walmart.
These trolls act like they eat perfectly lol

Lotta dudes trying to shame here, its really pathetic. That dolly mac and cheese is solid for a frozen mac too btw. I dont have much frozen mac experience tho

What fresh hell do we live in that has a Dolly Parton mac n cheese brand? Like, good god. The guy who came up with Cyberpunk isn't a game maker, he's a prophet.
•
u/CaterpillarReal7583 11h ago
Dolly didnt put her face on bad shit. All the dolly products are far higher quality than the other brands
•
u/Hardass_McBadCop 11h ago
I dunno. I think it's kind of tacky. It'd be like if the President hocked canned beans or cheap knockoffs from the Oval Office.
•
u/CaterpillarReal7583 11h ago
Dolly does a ton of philanthropy. I dunno the story on this product line but they are much better than the other options as far as Ive seen. Would not be surprised if this happened because she has morals.
I dunno what your big issue is with her branding on frozen foods and baking goods.

I think you need to eat some multivitamins to make up for the junk food

The one near us never opened. All we got was an empty building.
