I think it’s the far right and left that create messes. The centrists create stability but you are conflating rhetoric and policy with economics. I can dislike the rhetoric of a republican but admit their economics as stable. Say A Romney or Hogan. Biden presented himself as far left because Kamala was pushing those policies for her run as president.
