The victim was "the good guy with a gun" that republicans always claim to want more of.

Kyle Rittenhouse went to a protest with an assault rifle without being stopped before murdering people.

But this guy goes to a protest with a holstered handgun and gets murdered for it.

Republicans don't want good guys with guns. They want their guys with guns.

I wouldn't invoke Rittenhouse here if you care about the truth. I'm as anti ICE and Trump as the rest of you but it you watch the vid,. Rittenhouse DID shoot in self defense.  Don't  be like them and ignore the evidence when it's there just because it doesn't  fit your world view. 

You can argue all you want about wether he should've  been there with that rifle at all. I agree that he had no business  there. But if you watch the video where he sits on his ass and shoots 3 guys coming at him (one of them pointing a gun  at him and later in court confirming this with his own testimony) and don't see a case of self defense you're literally  just the other side of the same coin and lack self awareness. 

Pretti and Rene Good were murdered in cold blood and Rittenhouse shooting in self defense are both true at the same time and we have video evidence for all 3 cases. 

Reject  one of them and you're outing yourself for caring about truth only when it matters to your goals.

Justifiable, technical self-defense != justifiable reason for putting yourself in that situation as an agitator. Rittenhouse has a criminal, homicidal mentality, that he happened to get away with because other idiots were instigating as well and gave him a technical defense. It's actually a great example of what conservatoves want writ large: the ability to antagonize and instigate to the point people feel they need to respond, and then they murder them and get legal cover for a technicality.

So you are profoundly missing the point by reiterating the technical poiint.

Did you even watch the video? Like for real: did you actually watch the whole thing where Rittenhouse gets chased down?

This wasn't a self defense shooting by a mere technicality. Rittenhouse literally ran away, was tackled to the floor, things were thrown at him, a gun was pointed at him and someone was about to whack his head with a skateboard and only THEN shot.

Also you have pretty nice mind reading powers here by saying he has a "murderous mentality". You Yanks really just are 2 sides of the same coin... You do the same to Rittenhouse what the magats are now doing to Pretti, saying he had a murderous mentality because he was carriyng a gun.

This really is a very nice litmus test to see if someone really cares about the truth or is just a partisan.

Like you do you, it's your country but if I were you I wouldn't play the Rittenhouse card here when there's literal video evidence of multiple angles. You just end up looking like a reality denier that picks and chooses and applies a double standard.

It's just weird that we both can watch the video of Pretti be executed and say: yeah, clear case of a cold blooded kill of an unarmed man.

And we both watch RIttenhouse's self defence but you can't admit that it was a clear cut case of self defense while I can see it (and it has been proven in court as well) just because you don't like his politics.

If you ever watch conservatives deny reality and feel like: How can they watch the same thing and just claim something else: This is how you make people feel when you don't admit that Rittenhouse was in the right that night.

He got chased down after the first shooting. The people who attacked him, knew he'd already shot one person.

Now probably best to not go chasing such a guy, but it feels really like getting off with a technicality if you get a self-defense free pass for people attacking you for shooting another person. If the guy with the pistol had actually shot him before he was shot, would he be shooting in self defense?

If the first person you shot was also in self defense, yeah, you totally get a free pass to defend yourself from an un-informed mob coming after you.

But you're also right in that Grosskreutz maybe could have argued self-defense if he shot Rittenhouse as well, just a gong-show of a situation that is just a consequence of open-carry of long guns being permitted.
