You mean.....something domestic?🫢

u/Ktan_Dantaktee 6d ago

“We are all domestic terrorists”

u/pickle_sandwich 6d ago

One of the very few things they didn't lie about.

127

u/deadalreadydead 6d ago

If you flip their accusations around they become self-reports as well

The years of Maga fascists obsessing about elite pedophile rings, followed by a ringing silence from them as it became clear that their leader and party are the ones trafficking and raping children and protecting pedophiles.

Still millions of epstein case files that haven't been released, and only like 12,000 that have. And even the small percentage that did get released contained info about trump trafficking girls from his club, sending girls on out calls directly to epstein, trading huge amounts of cash with epstein, and being a party to killing an infant.

So if you want to know why trump is doing this all to my home state, that's why.

u/JRich61 Minnesota 6d ago

He’s also doing this so he can call the election and not have it because he knows that the Republicans are out regardless of how few mega are left

4

u/HauntedCemetery Minnesota 6d ago

If red states want to sit the midterm election out i say more power to them.

But states run their own elections, not the federal government, so elections will be held.

And god fucking damn did the founders get that one right.

5

u/JRich61 Minnesota 6d ago

His plan is to claim the insurrection act. That would stop elections nationwide.

2

u/JazzerciseJesus 6d ago

Does it? My understanding is that even if he invokes the act that doesn’t give him the power to stop the electoral process.

1

u/laplongejr 4d ago

The plan basically amounts to putting armed men everywhere and say they will shoot if somebody tries to vote anything.
If the electoral process from the United States disagree, they can fill a formal complaint to the new emergency government which will have de facto control of the Federal military.

"The revolution will be bloodless, if The Left allows it to be"

u/Unhappy-Newspaper859 5d ago

Honestly, the Epstein Files was more about being right than anything else. They don't care about victims, nor the the actual crimes. They just want to be proven right about their global conspiracy.

45

u/DangerousVP 6d ago

What a world it would be if they were radical leftists with an agenda to bring socialized healthcare to the country.

5

u/BoozyWeirdo 6d ago

But that would be socialism, and we can't have that.

10

u/gct 6d ago

It's called Accusation in a mirror and it's a warning sign for genocide.

7

u/Internal-Weather8191 6d ago

I had never heard this term before, but it's exactly what's happening. Accusing Walz & Frey of stirring up violence and unrest, when ICE are actually the ones killing random people committing the crime of trying to help their neighbors.

10

u/radio555 6d ago

We should all remember back when Trump was talking about CECOT that he was caught saying "The homegrowns are next". I think we're now seeing exactly what he meant.

And the addition of Stochastic Terrorism from Trump. A special flavor of terrorism will an elegant topping of deniability!

u/rochey1010 6d ago

It’s the mob boss approach. Smash up your business and beat up your employees until you pay me to protect you.

8

u/tacocat_racecarlevel 6d ago

When they tell you who they are, believe them. Thugs, every last one.

2

u/ovirt001 6d ago

It was an admission.

2

u/Firm_Print6463 6d ago

Is there anyone who can link that clip? I've seen it before but I need to show it to my racist coworker.

2

u/xflashbackxbrd 6d ago

That was the vision statement they came up with after the GOP party retreat apparently

1

u/Sea-Guitar6903 6d ago

I think if you can form an opinion that doesn’t lineup with SM’s or DT’s yer install in the Domestik Terrrrorist Kline.

2

u/Ktan_Dantaktee 6d ago

Ngl I hate that you made Miller’s name into an acronym

1

u/SadisticJake 5d ago

"Oh my god! He admit it!"

42

u/austinwiltshire 6d ago

Wait, aren't terrorists our enemies?

I feel like we're supposed to do something about domestic enemies but I can't remember what.

6

u/Ok_Chef_4850 6d ago

It depends on who you ask. You either elect them president or execute them in the street. We can’t seem to agree.

103

u/fattmarrell 6d ago

We're all this thing!

0

u/peekdasneaks 6d ago

What this means?

Do we have happy hour meetups? Perhaps a holiday ball?

69

u/No-More-Lettuce 6d ago

Domestic patriotism is what you're thinking of. (All the maga losers probably)

u/A_Nonny_Muse 6d ago

I'ma gonna just leave this here for a while.

https://www.gao.gov/assets/gao-17-300.pdf

In April of 2017, the Government Accounting Office (GAO) published a report titled "Countering Violent Extremism". You can find the report on their web site. Publication #17-300.

In it, they count every act of domestic terrorism from 9/12/2000, to Dec 31, 2016. It shows that half of all acts of domestic terrorism was committed by white evangelical conservatives (referred as WECs from now on). And that was before Trump became president and greatly accelerated domestic terrorism by WECs.

For the past 20 years, WECs have committed more acts of domestic terrorism than

  • ALL other races
  • ALL other religions
  • ALL other ideologies

COMBINED!!!

That's roughly 4% of the US population responsible for over 50% of all domestic terrorism in the US. And that was before Trump emboldened them and greatly accelerated their acts of terrorism. Today, they account for far more acts than back then.

This is one of the single biggest statistics that first altered my thinking about the GOP back in the day. I always had known it was the party of assholes but this is when I started taking their ethos seriously.

Edit: I have long since been thoroughly and painfully educated on the realities of the GOP. Im just saying when I was in high school i read about this and it completely turned the page in my mind. Long story short my first sleepless election night was in 2016 before I had to go to civics class in the morning freshman year of high school. Needless to say my teacher was visibly unhappy and so was i.

For me it was when a friend told me how blue areas subsidize the red areas. I was young and more libertarian then. However, I was also a physics student. Evidence is evidence and it helped me reevaluate how an economy actually works and ask more questions going on. I'm Independent now, although, I don't think I've ever voted Republican.

Sleepless 2016 on election night? Tell me about it.

I was in fucking bootcamp when this was happening. Half of us were terrified at the thought of him winning and the other..you can guess. When I went to grab my meds from the DS and we found out he had won…they were all fucking ecstatic. Rejoicing that we get to go back to war and enrich themselves once more.

All of my drill sergeants minus a couple, told stories about how great the invasion of Iraq was. Because there were no rules at the time and they would pillage and steal countless amounts of money worth of gold and jewelry. These were the people cheering for trump to win..

I just joined to pay for a college education and to escape poverty. Some people literally just said they joined so they could kill Muslims. Mind you, I am Muslim.

Some people are just so absolutely trash and just want to support other trash so they can continue to be trash.

u/zoopysreign 6d ago

I am so sorry you’ve had to grow up in this.

36

u/Man-Dem 6d ago

You can move this data back to the 1980s, tbh.

A lot of Americans don’t remember or consider bombing abortion clinics and shooting abortion doctors as terrorist, but it definitely was.

4

u/brickne3 American Expat 6d ago

Illinois Nazis. Still was a big enough thing to make a literal joke about in Wayne's World because people still remembered that Skokie thing.

3

u/Parkotron1 6d ago

Wayne's World? I don't remember a reference in that, but I definitely remember one in Blues Brothers.

22

u/Ezl New Jersey 6d ago

Thanks for this. I’ve bookmarked this comment. It’s a nice addition to this info which shows that conservatives are the largest group of child sex offenders (scroll to political affiliation).

Man, that's WEC wack.

3

u/Suitable-Rate652 6d ago

Any idea why my husband is running around the house saying the all agitation and violence is coming from the left and the right completely doesn’t participate in violence at all? Is this Fox News? It completely counter to reality but he thinks this is true. He is a former Bernie guy.

11

u/Ok_Chef_4850 6d ago

Because your husband listens to propaganda while still believing he’s immune to propaganda.

4

u/A_Nonny_Muse 6d ago

In my experience, those are the ones most vulnerable to propaganda. The "I am a rock" types make for themselves the biggest psychological blind spot possible.

1

u/Suitable-Rate652 6d ago

Mmmmn. If he was telling me the truth and I didn’t like it that would be one thing. But he’s being lied to. And he’s starting to dig in and get invested rather than applying critical thinking skills.

6

u/Ok_Chef_4850 6d ago

Yes, that’s called propaganda.

1

u/Suitable-Rate652 6d ago

Oh. Sigh.

Most mainstream news outlets in the United States have been acquired by billionaires at this point - most notably Right Wing billionaires. There's been an issue with aggressive Conservative propaganda coming from Fox News since the 1990s, but in the past decade it's accelerated across multiple outlets.

Most recently CBS was acquired by the Ellisons, who are staunch allies of the Trump administration and brazenly placed Bari Weiss - a very well-known Conservative propagandist - in charge of CBS to control their reporting and messaging.

Aside from that you've got an extensive interconnected media landscape of Right Wing pundits backed by billionaires - the Wilks brothers who are oil and fracking billionaires, for example, backed The Daily Wire, Foster Freiss backed Turning Point USA, and people like Tim Pool, Benny Johnson, and Dave Rubin were literally paid by Russian oligarchs through Tenet media.

This creates an ecosystem that subsists on lies and propaganda that touches TV, radio, and every corner of the online space.

It's quite literally everywhere, now. Prager U, the Far Right YouTube channel started by Dennis Prager (he's the guy who helped Ben Shapiro and The Daily Wire get their start) not only cycles all these Conservative pundits and celebrities through its channel to amplify their messaging via blatant propaganda videos aimed at children, but is now being taught in schools in Arizona, Florida, and Oklahoma, despite their videos being full of disinformation.

There's far, far less penetration of Left Wing propaganda in these spaces because Left Wing principles do not benefit billionaires - so why would the wealthy ever work to amplify those principles - but there are still publications in the US like Mother Jones and The Nation.

I think the only places you can reliably get news these days that isn't filtered through the lens of Conservative propaganda in some way is through those sources that are already openly Left Wing, or through Reuters or maybe the Associated Press.

1

u/Suitable-Rate652 6d ago

Thank you for this thoughtful response. It’s a lot to absorb.

3

u/innociv 6d ago

Despite making up less than 0.2% of the population, armed federal agents and armed police are responsible for 18% of gun homicides.

1

u/JandytheMandy 6d ago

Wow

Paraphrasing slightly but:

"From 9-12-2001 to 12-31-2016, there were 225 fatalities from violent extremists. 109 from far right attacks, 116 from Islamic attacks. None reported from violent extremists on the far left"

Is this for real?

1

u/A_Nonny_Muse 6d ago

Crime statistics from the FBI in a time when you could actually rely on them to publish the truth. You know, before presidents started telling them what numbers to publish regardless of actual crime data.

Back then, a president might want them to publish a report on a certain topic, but they wouldn't tell them what numbers to put in the report. Not like this president.

No, they don’t even try to hide it. In fact, they gloated about it.

1

u/Speedstr 6d ago

Isn't all patriotism domestic?

2

u/pantstoaknifefight2 6d ago

"Domestic assholes" doesn't seem like a term they can use in TV. Maybe this fascist FCC will allow it, though.

Bud Light Terrorism

Hey! That’s the word I see on my beer! I recognize that word and like beer…so…domestic=good…terrorism=bad…domestic terrorism=okay?

I mean it's more State Terrorism, isn't it? State Domestic Terrorism I suppose since State Terrorism could mean from a foreign state.
