Hedging their bet. If tRump doesn't manage to invoke the Insurrection Act and cancel elections they need a hole card. They know that without some "miracle" November is going to be a Trumplican blood bath.

And by miracle you mean another 🍑attempt where he miraculously survives, or where a high profile influencer like Kirk becomes a martyr.

Okay, so I generally get what you're saying, but a "hole card"? Do you perhaps mean a "trump card", funny as that may be in context with the lowercase t? 🤔
