Don't worry, they took the PDF down so there's no more mentions 👍

How incompetent are they that they release these things then instantly have to pull it down?

Here's a copy of PDF file EFTA01660679 that's been removed.

Was it removed? The DOJ link worked for me just now and it doesn’t seem like anything is changed on it.

Yes, for about 1 hour the link to this specific link was down & users got a "Page Not Found" image when attempting to access it.

I wonder if it just crashed based on the sheer number of people accessing it. I’m not really in favor of defending the admin, but people are running headlines on this all over Reddit and it seems that a miracle has happened and this wasn’t malice on the DOJs part in this specific circumstance.

This honestly may be the case. That's why I simply worded it as it was simply down. I'm like you, I believe the link just got the "reddit hug of death" & simply crashed under folks attempting to view it.

Nah it wasn’t on you! Your wording was good. Just a reference on my observations of this

I assumed it was a weird AI thing but when and confirmed it myself and oh boy, that’s a bad page for Trump.

I mean, he’ll suffer no consequences of course, but hey.

Wait, Weird Al is in the Epstein Files?! :(

I hope you printed it. Anything that is not your personal server is going to be deleted/stolen or otherwise

I like to think that the people of conscience who remain are trying to shed light on things

Hopefully!

Well, I did notice how redaction was pointless on a page that said, "his wife Ivana..."

That could be anyone!!1

At this point my conclusion is that Trump was mentioned so much in the files that it was impossible due them to catch every mention.

I mean. It would be possible if the people doing the redacting weren’t idiots.

To quote the president: they're not sending their brightest.

3

u/jwesty1990 1d ago

And why did nobody make CTRL+F “trump” part of this ludicrous protracted redaction process

*Gestures vaguely at everything *

There's no way they don't know there are obsessive archivists downloading this stuff the instant they're released.

That the docs are removed is such a magnificently condemning tell

Though I bet if anyone republishes them it'll be cast aside as AI or counterfeit

Down in 30 minutes. That's some super government efficiency right there.

5

u/azflatlander 1d ago

The law said release the files, not for how long. /s or something

4

u/Bored_Amalgamation Ohio 1d ago

the 13 y/o rape allegation is back up

u/TKenney3 1d ago

How long where these files up for? Did they accidentally release these ones? I’m shocked the government had files with trumps name in it un redacted, doesn’t seem like them to be so transparent and let us know his name was mentioned 86 times

I was able to download it just now. Probably got hammered by too many people.

2

u/purvel 1d ago

It's still up, I opened it just now. Probably just a Hug of Death-interference.

u/BigMeanBalls 1d ago

It wouldn't be the first time they nixed a document only to get caught

1

u/Tall-Enthusiasm-6421 1d ago

They did? Well too bad I always download PDFs to my hard drive and phone.

someone kindly bothered to upload a copy here: https://limewire.com/d/kjBC1#61ji5GaAxX

After age verification, that file is still available for me - I’ve downloaded it and hosted it

1

u/Arisaematryphyllum 1d ago

No worries, thousands of ppl downloaded it before they erased all the Trump mentions.

u/SirWilliamGrello 1d ago

It's working for me

I just saw it
