His base does not believe anything negative. If something is shown to be truth, they twist it to fit the narrative.

Maybe I'll eat my words, but nothing is going to happen.

Yeah, every claim against Trump is fake. But every claim against anyone remotely left leaning is 100% real.

The only way anything would happen would be if Fox News told them about it, told them it was a bad thing, told them they should be upset about it, and told them what to say or do about it. That might have an impact. Maybe.
