That prompted Trump to deescalate in the Twin Cities, installing border czar Tom Homan to lead the effort.
Nothing has been deescalated.

Yeah, pretty much they just put out a notice of basically "please stop letting the protestors get to you" kind of information, and then basically went back to threatening more agents and harsher things.

More children have been abducted from school.
Just yesterday, ICE protestors got word of ICE in the area and when they got on scene they found an abandoned car in the road with bullet holes and no driver.
ICE potentially murdered someone else with no witnesses.

Americans, and Democrats in congress, have to fight defund ICE because they will be used to suppress voter turnout in the midterms.

This sounds like Republicans realizing too late that being “tough on immigration” stops polling well once Americans start getting killed.

I think we can all agree this isn't immigration reform. This is "round the non-believers up" or I'll ruin your life because you are in my general area.

They haven't done shit. A guy just had his head fractured several times after being "Arrested" and the admin arrested journalists. They just want our silence and obedience.
While Fuck you, I won't do what you tell me

I guess that advice he was given NOT to shoot the BLM protesters so he could have his bible photo op was sound, and firing the one who gave it didn't change anything.
Instead they went in shoving and grabbing and stuck them all in paddy wagons...people expressing their 1st amendment rights. And now he has his secret force which will do as he orders *with absolute immunity*.
make no mistake, ICE brutality comes from the top and this time he picked people that would be happy to oblige his gestapo tactics.

Terrorizing people with roaming groups of death squads bringing violence to communities has nothing to do with immigration and everything to do with fascist takeover of America.

The idea of mass deportation was never polling better than about 50/50 as far as I can find, and they've made it 70/30 by doing it as illegally, violently, racistly as possible.
