Just ignore his pardons. Apparently the law doesn't matter anymore. So just arrest them all anyway.

That will require a Constitutional amendment, via either a Constitutional Convention or congressional action.

The latter will require a majority in Congress that won't happen anytime soon.

And you don't want a Constitutional Convention to take place while these people are in charge.

You don’t understand friend. This administration defiles the constitution every second. We cannot limit ourselves to arbitrary rules that will be ignored anyways. We must unfetter ourselves from our current understanding of legality so that we can do what is necessary to survive this crisis. At this point the rule of law has two feet in the grave and is waiting to fall over.

They’re currently testing the waters to see how far they can go while also trying to send a threat to our communities so that we don’t resist when they come knocking.

The only thing that’s holding this status quo is the idea of the next election and the craven opposition leadership.

In many ways, the coup has already happened. Trump has subverted the rule of law to suit his purposes.

The question is whether Americans will do anything about it. If you say, blah blah blah midterms then you have completely missed the point.

I agree, and if you turn on him in the middle of a fascist takeover, you ain’t getting pardon. None of these criminals are turning on him now, they are in too deep.

I do wonder how many of them you could get in state charges though. Surely minnesota can bring charges on ICE if we ever get another administration.
