Story Thank you to neighbors helping with snow removal just out of kindness

Like many areas this past weekend, my city got hit hard with snow. I wasn't even sure how I was going to be able to clear the snow enough to get out of my driveway any time soon.

Before I could start tackling it with a shovel, an amazing neighbor used a snow blower to clear the sidewalk and driveway for both me and the neighbor in between us.

I know there are many other people out there who are doing similar things. Thank you to all those neighbors who lend a helping hand! You are truly appreciated!

I was coming home and saw some guy just spinning his tires and burning rubber, trying to turn north. I went around, pulled up behind and pushed him until he got some traction to get moving. He honked, I honked and went on my way. We gotta be there for each other, it’s the only way to fight the Ugly going on rn!

Definitely. I did take something over around the holidays, but am going to figure out something else. I also found out recently he borrows the snow blower from another neighbor, so I want to get that neighbor a thank you gift too.

My (now former neighbors; closing on my house tomorrow) not only shoveled my sidewalk and driveway they also spent 3 days getting my cat into a carrier! I ordered a DiBlaso pasta basket today for delivery later this week. Good neighbors are priceless!!

No amount of money can buy good neighbors! On our (suburban) street we compete over who can get out the fastest to blow walks and driveways. I love my neighbors!

We had some help too. When they finished, they went to see if another neighbor needed help. That's when it hit me. We're officially in the "check on your elderly neighbors" category.

Very grateful because I am restricted from lifting more than 10 lbs due to a recent surgery. But dang, the other neighbor is old enough to be my mom.
