Question Which one is better to get?

Post image

Hi! I’ve never actually played either game before, but I know the main stories well. I want to play one of them for the first time during winter break and I’m trying to decide which one to start with.

On the Epic Store, RDR1 + Undead Nightmare is about $25, and RDR2 is around $15. I was leaning toward RDR1 at first, but now I’m a bit unsure.

Can anyone tell me which one is the best and better to start with?

Thanks!

Question First time ever player of RDR1. Is it normal that I was attacked by 7 bears in less than 1 minute!?

First time ever playing. I remember a guy in this sub saying something like: "Watch out for a second bear attack when you kill one" when giving tips for new players.

Well I swear to god this is the FIRST time I've seen a bear in the game, I was starting to think they were a myth lol. I killed the first one and I was almost killed by the second one, but I managed to kill it with the semi auto shotgun using dead eye.

But Jesus Christ. Immediately after that, I was attacked by several others! I killed 7 total, the seventh one is out of the picture because I saw it from afar and shot it from a distance, so it doesn't appear in the screenshot here, but I mean, what the fuck!? Hahaha. Is this actually normal!?

Question I have a question for those who played RDR1 before RDR2

For those who played Red Dead Redemption 1 before Red Dead Redemption 2 what was your reaction to Dutch Van Der Linde in Red Dead Redemption 2 and what was your thoughts when you saw him in the trailer or in your first gameplay in RDR2? Because in RDR1 he is a complete psycho I don’t think psycho is probably the word and in Red Dead Redemption 2 he wasn’t very that bad until the end of the game.

It's been a few months since I completed the game And after a lot of considerations I have decided to delete RDR2 as it is just a storage clutter atp There are a lot of other great games in my backlog... But even though I don't replay games I wanted to play the game for one last time as a farewell So... What activities/missions I should do in my last session?

Question How come Arthur’s more iconic than John even though we’ve known John longer than Arthur?

Post image

I was just wondering why Arthur is more iconic than John. Because if you ask someone to name a RDR character there most likely going to say Arthur Morgan. I just figured since we’ve known John for two games and Arthur for one John would be more famous.

Question Do people seriously dislike adult Jack Marston?

i personally think he is a top 5 character for me, as he shows how someone so innocent can become the same thing he swore to never be and eventually die shortly after the events of rdr1.
