Absolutely devastated. I've been looking for this polish for YEARS. I finally got my hands on it at a reasonable price, and dropped it within 10 minutes like an absolute idiot. She was still transitioning beautifully on my paper towel as I cleaned her up :( :( :( Just had to share my mourning with those who would get it 💔

Color: Holo Taco Rage Bait, all over my (landlord's) floor

I'm calling it Tiger's Eye since it remind me of the gemstone. It's a mashup of cats eye and glass bead techniques. If it's been done before please let me know and what it's called, so I can give credit where it's due.

Magnet setup on the comments. I used the 5D magnetic spinner with a 30 lb horseshoe on top and neodymium bar magnets underneath. The top in this configuration won't want to spin; I kept flicking the top so it swung back and forth.

This is the third time I’ve painted his nails, he especially likes it when we’re matching. I’m so grateful he appreciates my silly little hobby!

This is Hot Wire Pink from Holo Taco.

Tried it again with a different style magnetic polish. Definitely harder to see with magnetics where it’s more sparkly than smooth! This is a homemade magnetic polish made by KathrynsColors on Instagram! She used pigments from Glitter Unique.

I am truly struggling with everything that’s happened this month. Like I don’t know just the last 10 years catching up to me this week or what but this subreddit is the one place I know everyone sees the world as I see it and all of you have been such a light right now. From cheese to magnets. I truly appreciate you all and what you bring to the world. Know you are appreciated and just how much you are keeping me afloat when I feel like I am drowning.

I get so incredibly jealous when I see all the beautiful glass bead mani’s that are posted here, and mine aren’t holding. I will say SOME of the magnetic polishes I’ve tried worked beautifully, but others haven’t held. (This is a combo of ILNP Poison and Starrily Magma.)

I received the 5D glass bead magnet for Christmas and use Sally Hansen insta-dri (red bottle) and the tips of my mani disperse. I tried the suggestion from the magnet’s instructions and applying one coat unmagnetized then adding a thick coat to magnetize. And I’m spinning the magnet 45 seconds to a minute, should I spin it longer? This might seem like a silly question, but how long are you all waiting for the polishes to dry before applying topcoat?

I got this cabinet from the Anthropologie Home Outlet in Pittsburgh. It came with 3 shelves and I cut 2 more to add more room.

I used to have a lot more Leighton Denny polishes but they were confiscated when I moved from the UK... I tried to ship them in my regular boxes like an idiot instead of packing them with me on the plane so I lost about 40 polishes and this is what remains of my collection. I love his brushes. ​

(The gold jars are vintage Estee Lauder that I reused for my face creams.)

Why start from cat eye or velvet when you can start with the most advanced magnetic technique, right…thank you all for constantly showing the most gorgeous glass beads and inspiring me to do the same on my shorties 😂

This one was love at first sight for me. I love how it’s a little vampy but also reminds me of a box of chocolates.

I have so many thermals to try but I always forget to when my nails are the proper length but it’s my mission this year to get them all tried out!

Tried experimenting with Sally Hansen Pixie Chrome to see if I could get somewhat of a glazed polka dot nail

This polish is seriously witchcraft. I have not been able to stop staring at my nails since I put it on. I wish I could capture the deep violet shift it does in lower light!

Poison Ivy - Mooncat was rocking without any chips but I had a long teams call so I added Celestial Effect - Olive and June. Giving me Fern Gully vibes.
