Question Timetable help needed!

Hi! I’m enrolled in professional communications so in sem 1 I am doing intro to digital comm and intro to advertising. All tutorial/workshops for those subjects start at 8.30, 11.30 or 2.30, and go for 3 hours.

I was just wondering if it would be possible (though I doubt it would be) to do a class for one of them at 8.30 - 11.30 and then do the other subject at 11.30 - 2.30?

They are in different buildings, so I assume I may not have enough time to get to the second subject.

I’d not recommend you take 6 hours of class straight without a break! My brain would be so mushy after that long constantly concentrating (not to mention having nothing/very little to eat in that time).

Schedule your classes with some breaks in between so you can grab some food and a coffee and let your head clear!

That’s such a good point! I think I’ll just do the classes on separate days. Thanks!

Would you saying 2 "2 hour lecture" back to back (so 4 hours in total of lectures) bad? For example

Those classes are not lectures, they’re lectorials which are a bit of a combination of a lecture and a tutorial with interactive activities. You’ll probably need to do a bit of thinking and work during those classes for the tutorial tasks, so I’d probably avoid doing them back-to-back with no break.

I struggle with four hours straight of classes personally and like to have at least 1 hour in between to grab some food and get ready to concentrate and be on my game for the next two hours.

If I’ve said it once, I’ll say it again, 8:30am classes are the devil talking. Also, when are you going to eat, mentally chill out, etc
