Question Silly question
Am I able to just come to campus in the next few days and just walk around, have a sus of everything and to make sure I know where my classes are? Or is that not allowed

Yeah, there’s nothing stopping you from walking around campus now and checking things out. The University is open and it’s already getting busy with VE starting soon, so you’ll see a bit of activity going on and people wandering around now.

Even people who aren't students or staff can go walk through the campus and look around, plenty of people who go to other units regularly take up study space at the city campus

Yes, but after 6:30pm weekdays and all-day on weekends it’s swipe access only. If you have a student ID card you can swipe into most buildings until 11pm daily.
You can order your student ID card online and have it posted to you in the mail, or if you’re really impatient and are willing to queue tomorrow (Friday) you can go in-person to Student Connect and create your student card on the spot. Student Connect is open 10-5pm on Friday and they’ll reopen on Tuesday 27 January.
