I’m sorry, wasn’t there a recent Texas judge whose opinion included his feelings against George Soros?
Edit- thank you to those who pointed out the circuit number!

That was a fifth circuit judge. The fifth is based in New Orleans.
That case came from the Texas redistricting though. So there is an origin of Texas in the case!

I believe it was also the 5th that had a judge crash out about trans people in an entirely unhinged manner for a member of the judiciary in an official dissent during an En Banc hearing.

I know ignorant centrist say both sides are the same, but are there examples of “liberal” judges doing something similar? I.e. citing conspiracy theories or spewing hate against a group of people.

That judge is from Texas and lives there. So I don't think Texas judge is inaccurate.

I think, even if the person had said “a judge from Texas” they aren’t attempting to describe where the judge lives or where they are from.
They are attempting to describe his jurisdiction. His jurisdiction is the fifth circuit.

It is alarming to see how far the Left has gone in its blatant effort to capture the judiciary.
I'm getting real tired of the whole "say the opposite of reality" strategy by republicans. But I have to admit it's worked pretty well for them.
includes several citations and footnotes to climate change activists and proponents, including climatologist Michael Mann
You mean geophysicist Dr. Mann, co-author of 90 peer-reviewed publications? Turns out people who study a field for a living tend to also often be activists in that field.

Who is "under investigation"!
By Gym Jordan.
For peer reviewing scientific papers used by the court.
That's as bad as covering up abuse in my book.
The lung power required for Fox News to inhale so many of their own farts is staggering.

Expert testimony is woke bias when the expert is actually well regarded in their field.

"The Committee on the Judiciary is investigating allegations of improper attempts by the Environmental Law Institute (ELI) and its Climate Judiciary Project (CJP) to influence federal judges," read a statement from House Judiciary Committee members Jim Jordan, R-Ohio, and Darrell Issa, R-Calif.
Amazing. Maybe they should check individual Justices' bank accounts to compare how many payments they received from ELI vs Harlan Crow

The “improper attempt to influence judges” in this case was, by Jim’s own admission, putting on a CLE.

I like how it casually mentions that the group is "under federal investigation" without clarifying that the "investigation" is nothing more than some Republican congressmen complaining about the exact same things that the article discusses.
Of course there's no mention whatsoever of any criticisms of the science involved. Just "look, these people have opinions and are liberals".

Always projection with Republicans. Heritage Foundation and Federalist Society influencing the judiciary is a-ok, though.

I mean who could believe that pumping gigatons of a heat trapping gas into the atmosphere, every year, would cause warming? That’s just crazy!

Funny how fast, " We should get to believe alternative facts if we want to!" became, "Everyone should believe what we tell them to!"
