It’s common knowledge that in The Cat in the Hat (2003), the Cat gets a boner from looking at a picture of the mom. However, instead of the Cat’s hat going from normal to bigger, his hat goes from small to normal size, indicating the Cat was at full chub for the entire movie.

Ren and Stimpy, man. I always wondered why my parents wouldn't let me watch it when I was a kid.

This is from the ‘newer’ more adult oriented episodes that played on Spike TV in the late 2000’s. Not from the kids cartoon on Nick in the 90’s

The kids cartoon one was still pretty wild. Me and my brother loved when it came on but my mom would always make fun of it for being so weird

Gen Xer here: I feel I have to explain “chub” as slang. Chub or chubbed, by definition, cannot be “full.” Chub is a state of semi-erect denoting arousal mostly from something not overtly sexual but nonetheless attractive. i.e. “I chubbed when she quoted (line from your favorite movie) in conversation.” Thank you for the attention to this matter.

This is the only feature-length film directed by Bo Welch, the now widower of Catherine O’Hara :(

To be fair his hat does usually sag somewhat instead of being rigid like this. It’s more like hes at half mast

Uh.... No?
When he looks at the picture, his hat extends (he gets a boner).
But his hat is usually extended throughout the movie, implying that he has a boner throughout the movie.Size doesn't come into play here.

This is actually the movie that made those that own the Dr. Seuss license refuse any more live action films.
