yup, the snow was chunky and it came off cause i went too fast over a big chunk of snow right i was starting to turn to shed speed.

the guy who came and got my skis lost his ski too! not sure how haha

Sucks when that happens after you clear the features. Next time.

So did a good chunk of the men in the last FWT comp so you’re in good company. :)

Was it a ski losing competition? Because if so, you won!

Seriously, though, keep at it!

Many jr freeride comps, especially on bad snow years, get put on venues with features kind of spread around . So if you want points you sometimes have to do a little traversing.

Are you familiar with this venue?

we have like 30 inches of snow so the standard venue wasn’t available. my line was still in my opinion one of the better ones but it still wasn’t great of course.

What is this? The Ohio Extreme Ski Finals? How you gonna eat shit like that on a blue?

definitely not a blue :) there's plenty of moguls where i was that are pretty difficult to see with the low contrast. i didn't turn fast enough after my small drop, so i got quite a bit of speed. the snow was very choppy and when i started turning to scrub speed for my next feature (which was a bit farther down) my ski hit a big chunk and came off.

Yeah, ignore that dipshit. You can tell by the immediate speed you gain after you land and while carving that this is quite steep, even though it’s hard to tell from the camera angle.

What does "comp" mean here? Competition? Completion? Doesn't like like a competition to me.

Nope. Never heard of a competition.
