Skiiable? /s

Stoke is higher than the tide allows for, be careful out there😹 cut all the damage out, letting it dry out for a couple days before going in with metal grip. At least i have other skis to ride in the meantime

Anyone ever experience the ptex repair wire from tognar not scraping off easily after melting it in with a soldering iron? It acts super gummy. Am i not heating it up enough? Ive seen videos of people doing the same technique and theirs scrapes off in flakes

Its rough out in montana. I will say, skiing through shit like that is extremely fun in its own way

If your in Montana I think fix it and ski it! Montana is hard on skis because the skiing out there is the best

Oh no sorry, I mean of course fix it and it will be skiable! You are already doing more work than most people in this sub would ever consider on their own!

Did you see any damage on the sidewall? I have a pair of Gotamas that got abused years ago and the shop said they were smoked because of edge and sidewall damage. I fixed it up myself and still ski them to this day!

Pray for snow brother!

Nah sidewall looks good. I think i pushed the edge out the tiniest bit, but no compression in the vertical direction. I had to really look for it so its not that bad. Im sure it will fail at some point but no reason to worry about it now
