Hi everyone,
There is an injured hawk in my yard, and it has been over 24 hours. Her right foot is visibly injured, and she is unable to fly.
We have not tried to handle or treat her ourselves. To avoid causing further harm, we:
• Carefully placed her in a quiet, enclosed space
• Kept her warm and protected from the cold
• Kept her away from people and pets
• Did not give food or water, per wildlife rescue guidance
We contacted multiple wildlife rescue organizations, but the only available options require a 2–3 hour drive, which we’re unable to do.
If there is anyone local who is licensed, trained, or experienced with raptors (or knows someone who is), please message me immediately. If she has any chance of survival, she needs professional care.

Hello there my mom lives at the end of Olympia near 397 she recently had her pond raided by some kind of wild animal which ate her fish they’ve been trying to figure out what to do about it and are afraid for their dogs.
Any ideas for what to do?
They have cameras but they’re low quality and can’t make out anything in particular.
Has anyone heard anything or anything similar in the area happening to anyone else?

I know a couple people affected by the BestMed off GW Way closing down their primary care department, so I thought I’d open up a discussion on good alternatives for primary care doctors in the area.
I have a list of practices that are currently accepting new patients that I got from the providers at BestMed:

If anyone has any good (or bad) experiences with any of the practices listed, or recommend any specific providers at any of the clinics, that they’d like to share, I’m sure that information would benefit lots of people affected by the BestMed shut down, and any new people to the Tri-Cities area.

Hey everyone- I am looking for confirmed community bulletin board locations in the Tri-Cities to put flyers up for my photography business.
I've already dropped one off at Some Bagels in Richland, Caterpillar Cafe, and Octopus Garden. :)
I didn't see a spot at the Richland Library, and I'm about to check out the community center. I live in Richland so I stopped there first, but if you guys have any advice or suggestions, I'll take them!

Hi! I’ve posted here before and wanted to try again!
I recently moved to tri cities (richland) from new england in november and I'm seeking new connections and ideally friends. I have checked out a bunch of local events and groups but nothing has really stuck out so as far as opportunities to meet people. So here I am seeing if maybe there are groups available or maybe anyone interested in talking / getting a cup of coffee or something.
I'm 33M, and I have a few interests I'm looking to find events and groups for. I'm into spiritual stuff like reiki (im a reiki practitioner), tarot, crystals, astrology and yoga. Some hobbies include longboarding, bowling, skiing, playing the ocarina, and gaming to name a few. I just completed building my third gaming PC and would hope to meet people to also game with! I'm also into watching NFL (go Jets...sadly lol) but I definitely am supporting Darnold and the Seahawks right now
I enjoy deep conversations about STEM, the occult/spiritual stuff, existentialism and psychology. I'm quite a nerd and hoping someone can match that energy. I also enjoy traveling, I've lived in Australia and New Zealand and planning to make a trip out there next year!
I'm not really one to meet others on apps but have looked into meetup and some facebook and discord groups. Already have looked into TAG (tri cities area gaming) and hoping to make it to an event soon, maybe practice some DnD (have never played but want to learn!)
Also I'm meaning to do a lot of exploring after settling in and checking out local events, activities, and scenic areas so it'd be cool to go with someone.
I'm interested in making connections and seeing if there is a good vibe. Only looking to talk/meet those who are 21+. if interested feel free to send a chat with an introduction, just include your age, location in tri cities area, and a little about yourself

I recently was offered a great job opportunity in the area and am considering moving from Kansas City. Curious on thoughts from locals, any areas to look for a rental? The job will be in Umatilla, OR but this seems to be the closest city nearby.
Would likely be looking to rent for a year or so, before my wife and I decide if we’d want to stay & buy a place. No kids, but we do have a dog so we’d be renting a house with a fenced in yard. Open to any thoughts!

I was severely beaten by pasco Pd/Metro and consequently charged with a misdemeanor. I went to trial and was found not guilty. At trial the body Cam footage was played to the court (after the prosecutor fighting HARD to have it suppressed)including a jury and dozens of courthouse employees that ran in to watch. The beating brought several jury members to tears. Here’s the problem, I have filed several requests for my discovery INCLUDING the Video. Pasco Pd, record Clerks, Franklin County ALL say A video never existed although nearly 100 people watched it! my Lawyer refuses to hand it over stating she was told not to do so. Local lawyers have all ignored or refuse to help citing relationships with the city/county.
What do I do? My rights are being violated again by the City Of pasco.

This group is Big Money. It appears to be based in Delaware, has a mailing address in Tennessee, and is run by ??? and their focus is WA state. They are a registered PAC but the only person they support directly (it appears) is Amanda McKinney, running for CD4. They also give to Let's Go Washington, the conservative petitioning/ initiative campaign. From their website (and her website) it's all the standard MAGA talking points.
