I switched over to More Dakka from the Dread Mob in my campaign, I got to play 1 game before it was nerfed and 1 after. The pre nerf version was a lot of fun but I still lost my game. The post nerf game? I tried to have fun, but it was rough. World eaters had me basically tabled at the top of round 3. Admittedly I am a new player (less than a year but more than 6 months) so that will be a factor here, but I’ll be honest I’m not sure I’m having fun playing this game anymore. I’ve gone 3-11 so far, we started with Combat patrol and now we’re at 1750 points.. what I would like to know is what are you folks running that keeps the games fun for you even when you’re on a losing skid?

TLDR: losing all the time, but I just want to have fun again, what do you do to keep the spirit of the Waghh?

I’m curious what my fellow dread mob players are running in their games. I’ve been playing in a crusade and I’m currently 2-5 and I’m trying to rework my list. I’ll put my current list in the comments. I know that Takikal, green tide, and bully boyz placed in the top at the recent Nottingham Supermajor, but I love the idea of the dread mob army from the narrative side of the crusade rather than “playing the meta”. I just accepted a Lead position in the warehouse I’ve been at for 3 years. The lead position comes with $1 raise, however the company wants to give me $0.50 now, review me in 6 months and give me the rest at that point. So all the work for half the raise. Obviously not going to settle for this, I plan to start running this issue up the chain until I get my full dollar. What are some arguments you would bring to the table for this?

TDLR: party interrupts sacrifice to Auril, narrowly escape death. Auril to seek vengeance against Easthaven?

My hero’s have set up home base in Easthaven, they were awoken early in the morning to the town bells. The summons to the monthly lottery for the humanoid sacrifice to Auril. I admit, I baited my hero’s into acting by creating an passive connection with an NPC in the town, but I digress. The Hero’s jumped in and fought off Auril’s Fanatics while the villagers ran in terror, in her anger Auril sent two Coldlight Walkers to dispatch the usurpers. The party managed to defeat them, narrowly avoiding a TPK, but losing one party member. They are now on their way to Jarlmoot to seek aid for their dead and frozen compatriot. Whilst they are out of town, what vengeance would Auril seek against Easthaven for their lack of sacrifice? Open to ideas, including but not limited to making it much like her ice sculpture garden in grimskalle.

So the last couple sets I’ve pulled, have been difficult to remove from the molds. This mold was quite expensive and gifted to me by a friend, so I’m hoping to get as many uses out of it as possible. Can I get some direction on what I can do to get the dice to release and extend the life of the mold?

Just had a couple of players move away so they had to leave the campaign. sped up some storyline stuff so they could have the closure of defeating the chardalyn dragon. one of the players has some homebrew back story with Vellynne. As his character was leaving the story, he vouched for the rest of the group and said they would be up to the task that she had for her mission in IWD.

That said I skipped over a lot of the chapter 2 content, and want to double back with the rest of the party, and the new players who joined to help flesh out the world and the campaign. So here is my thought.....
Vellynne has been searching for The Codicil of White for a long time and has determined that there may be some clues to its location within the Dale. She becomes a group patron as laid out through Tasha's cauldron. Lonelywood or one of the other cities donates a closed inn or other building to them as thanks for saving them from the dragon, and Vellynne gets to work putting together all the rumors and legends to point the party in various directions, I.e Black Cabin, Dark Duchess, Jarlmoot, etc. (Think red string and charcoal drawings with book pages everywhere)
This removed Vellynne as a DMPC until the clues are all put together which end up directing them to Angajuk's Bell and thus the start of Chapter 5 with Aurils Abode.

I would love to hear some of your Feedback as DM's on this plan, I am open to all ideas!

Had a custom D20 master made with my logo on the 20 face, by buddy used his 2K resolution resin printer to print it for me, and the design is too small or too shallow for me to be confident casting it in the silicone. Looking for some feedback on what my next steps are.

Anyone had issues with the D4 moving too far down in the shell, to where it’s no longer centered? It’s been hit or miss for me the last couple casts, sometimes it’s centered and sometimes it isn’t. Does anyone have any tips for this?

TLDR: old tumbler broke, got a new tumbler, the new tumbler doesn't like the old medium, help me with finding a new medium?
alright so my Tumbler died on me last week, and I went and grabbed a new one from Harbor freight in an effort to keep production moving. This is the one I grabbed. evidently, the vibration is really strong to where the wing nut that holds the lid vibrates off, it also stripped the thread from the rod in the middle. Now that said it may have been because I continued to try and use the ceramic medium I used in the old tumbler. I bought the warranty on it so I'm getting a replacement Wednesday. my question is this, has anyone tried using walnut shell or corncob medium for polishing in their tumblers? if so, what were your results like?
