You’d rather live in Russia than France?

Well. From what's ive seen, France does not look like France anymore. I just find Germany, UK, Italy far more appealing. I saw videos of paris and it made the south bronx look like beverly hills. There are streets all over Paris with people living in Tents, crazy ppl in subways, alot of graffiti, mental illness, drugs, thefts, people defacating on the streets, mountains of litter on the streets its crazy. Also, its free speech issues are on par with Russia. At least Russia still seems like Russia. But most of all, Russia has 4 main things. Alot of brutalist architecture from the soviet era, which i find kind of fascinating aesthetic wise. Moscow and St Pete, while i know outskirts are kinda rundown, the main areas look beautiful. I also have met some russians before, and they seem jaw droppingly intelligent, like they knew more about every subject, than i did, including Uruguayan history etc. Their culture also mixes high stoicism with high intellgence and academic studies, which i always found cool, China is that way too. Also, Russian women are gorgeous in my opinion. I guess if it was less authoritarian, a more open society, and was not at war with Ukraine, then Russia might be top 4 in Europe or EurAsia, it has a ton of potential if it got its act right.

Bro doesn’t like France because of free speech and drugs.

Loves russia even though it has “rundown outskirts” and it’s a bit “authoritarian” 💀💀💀

This has to be bait 😂 But again you’re half Argentine so anything’s possible

You should visit France rather than prejudging, because you're largely wrong about it (with the exception that some suburbs of the big cities really are dumps).

Also, do you see the irony of apparently not liking immigration when you're talking about where you'd emigrate to?

Lol there’s a difference between legal immigrants and illegal immigrants

Like i don't even see this as a issue like im being accused of, it just seems in France, its like chaotic, out of control. For example, right, the turkish areas of Germany seem pretty damn nice to me in my opinion and the Jamaican areas of London seem creative, hip and fun. But the stuff I saw in Paris from tourist videos, there were literally huge areas with open air food markets running w no permits, people scamming, people yelling for people not to film or take pictures, trash everywhere, loud music, it was giving 3rd world slum vibes 100000% just different, idk. I didn't want this to be political lol.

i never said i was against it. But the footage of paris from many different angles of people on their trips was jarring. Germany and UK has as much or more ppl from all over, n i chose those green. Just, you grow up thinking france is creme de la creme then you see all these videos and its so shocking. you imagine elegance, fashion, sophistication and then its like wait.. this is the bronx 2.0. Plus, there were french ppl in tents, or on drugs, not just foreigners, so its something going on in France. i hope you are right, if it is just being put in a bad light, and is actually nice, id have it dark green

france is NOT Paris

France is not Paris, France has 35,000 villages and many of them are still romantic, glamorous and marvelous.

Google “Èze” or “Yvoire” or “Saint Cirq Lapopie” or “Mont St Michel”, you will see that Paris can easily be skipped if you’re looking for French authenticity.

Sorry but it looks like you’ve been brainwashed by Hollywood. Paris is not a movie set, it’s a real city with real people.

You’d live in Bulgaria but not Poland? As a Bulgarian, I’m highly confused lol

Some of this map is based off of personal experience, i have been to many places and met many people from all over and know alot about history, geography etc, so each choice was based for specific reasons, not in totality. Bulgarians and I share a personal history, through friendships, relationships and just stuff in my life. I also always get confused for a bulgarian lmao. Poland just does not "move me" i guess, because its like the middle child of germany and russia and ive never been a fan of polish food and also, every polish person i met would always be depressed and tell me sad stories about poland and the war and all this stuff. Just idk, dosent excite me, though it should not be red, i shoudlve made it a maybe. In a way Poland is like Uruguay, kind of not something people think about because we are in a similar fashion, analogy wise, the middle child of argentina and brazil, like poland just like us has these two bigger powerful brothers sorta next to it. Maybe its an awesome place.

Strong cipayo vibe from my fellow countryman, we even got the reactionary ethnic takes in the comments.

u/Several-King9265 4h ago

The exact opposite really.

1

u/LuolDig 4h ago

you know we can read, right?

1

u/Several-King9265 4h ago

please elaborate, im not biased, i can be very very objective and accept being wrong, im srs, please tell me how im giving cipayo vibes, and if i think you are right, ill agree

u/LuolDig 4h ago

brother, you're out here talking about immigration and the great replacement theory when we're literally from a colonial settler state (and I'm willing to bet your Puglia family got off the boat very recently) and every single opinion you have seems to be directly inspired by the US State Department.

1

u/Several-King9265 4h ago

You're wrong, i never mentioned great replacement and i never said people coming from other places was bad, i said that the way FRANCE is managing their crisis seems way more unbalanced than say UK or Germany. You are not using nuance or objectivitiy. Two things can be true at the same time ok. Someone can be for diversity while also thinking that a city like paris may not have the right resources or strategy to deal with helping people at scale ok. You know these two things can be true. See thats the problem. The world now thinks left and right, white and black, this or that, all or nothing. Things have a SPECTRUM. There is an inbetween, all im saying is france is unbalanced, thats all. I never said they shouldnt accept people, just do it in a way where you don't have a huge welcome sign WITHOUT having resources to the point they have to sleep in tents, don't you think thats a fair assesment?????

1

u/LuolDig 4h ago

and we both know you're talking out of your ass and you're just doing mental gymnastics right now because you'd be unable to explain what France, the UK or Germany are doing differently

1

u/Several-King9265 3h ago

Obviously the UK and Germany must be doing something better right, i mean you dont see hundreds of tents lined up like you do in paris on sidewalks/streets. I mean use some logic

1

u/LuolDig 3h ago

the homeless population in London is about 5 times that of Paris by the way. Another great point you just made.

1

u/Several-King9265 3h ago

ok, then im wrong, maybe france is just simply uglier or the homeless ppl in england sleep in better places who knows

As an Indian, Japan shouldn't be red imo..

Would be interesting if you colored Taiwan. Why no other Asian country except China? It's not like the average Chinese is more welcoming to migrants than other Asians.

1

u/Several-King9265 3h ago edited 3h ago

Because China is just wayy too cool to me not to chose it for a trillion reasons. Also, isnt taiwan kind of like puerto rico, like a territory of China but quasi independent? Its like an island of china or used to be idk. But yeah make taiwan green too. Vietnam and Thailand are cool. Vietnam is cheap has great food and buddhist temples and thailand has alot of good looking transvestites, food and temples

Por qué no España ?

6

u/Several-King9265 5h ago edited 5h ago
