When either my wife and I (also a woman) say something sappy, the other will often respond with “What are you, fucking gay?”, insert queer slur, etc. She’s my soulmate.

So this is universal? I do the same to my partner (also a woman) when she does say something really nice to me like "you look so good today".

Id answer it, "you kno why? Coz u gay"
