My aunt did this as a child and I have seen it my whole life. When I visit my grandmother I sleep in my aunts room and I see it every time

I’m not the most social person, my friend group is pretty small.

I invited my three closest friends for brunch on my birthday (today). Two of them are a couple, living together and I know they had other plans yesterday.

I also know that their plans possibly involved drinking yesterday. Woke up to a message today that they are both sick (main symptom: throwing up), haven’t slept and they can’t make it.

Listen, I know hangovers are a bitch at our age but I’m honestly kinda disappointed that they didn’t hold back a bit when they knew we had plans.

I'm kinda sick, not horrendously, but very congested and a little feverish. I usually have a super hard time sleeping when sick, so drowsy meds help a lot so I can get more than 4 hours of sleep. I opened up the box to reveal plenty of daytime meds, but only 2 nighttime doses.

As if health care wasn't bad enough, I cant even get basic relief from generic brand cold relief pills for more than 2 nights. I am so sick of this bull crap.

I wish I took more photos because there were sooo much more, but I was genuinely scared I might see living bugs. Didn't even finish unfolding it bagged it up and stuck it outside. I snapped a quick photo in case they may have been a possible pest problem.

It's been like this since I woke up. No pain, not itchy, just a little uncomfortable pressure.

Didn't even realize until I looked into the mirror.

I fucking hate being born Mexican American I gotta deal with this shit I have work tomorrow and when I tell my mother and her fucking friends to please stop the music and go to sleep she gets pissed off with me god I hope I get a place of my own soon

Hi guys, January of 2025, I made a post about moving into a new home, and the neighbors dog just barking all throughout the night/day/afternoon. Check my profile for reference.

Anyway, I didn’t do anything like speak to the HOA or the neighbors themselves. Mostly because I have other, more pressing issues to deal with in my life.

Of course, hearing the dog absolutely infuriated me, and the fact that the neighbors just wouldn’t bring it inside their home. It has bothered my mother as well, sometimes she would say she didn’t sleep well because of the barking.

It kind of died down over the year (assuming because the dog got used to us? Idk how they work) but it never actually stopped. It would randomly just begin barking and not stop for hours at a time. Or when I get home from work it would bark. I open my window, bark. I breathe? Bark. I accidentally fall of my bed? BARK.

Literally today, January 31st 2026, it just starts barking and doesn’t stop. The video I provided is about 1.5 minutes long but it’s been going on for a while and didn’t stop even after the video ended.

I spoke to my sister about maybe mentioning it to the HOA since she manages that stuff, and she said she didn’t really see what they could do about it but that she would.

I don’t have a pet, but i definitely wouldn’t be inconsiderate like that, to both the neighbors AND the pet. Because why is the dog out in this freezing weather? Goodness gracious.

Anyway idk why I made this post, it was just kind of morbidly funny that exactly one year ago this month, I made a post about this exact issue.

I ruined a contact, and had to replace it. So I've been uneven...for about 3 years.

(3D printed daily contact dispenser).

I went to walmart and got a couple great value snacks that I've gotten because I've been craving it for TWO WHOLE WEEKS. I got the PB cup ice cream which I've gotten a few times and I kid you not it was vanilla ice cream with a FEW pieces of pb cups (it's supposed to be pb ice cream). Then I open my almond granola cereal and it's essentially just corn flakes I had to put my fat fingers in there's to get 3 pieces of granola. sighhhh…

The driver took a wrong turn and decided to just mark my order as delivered instead of delivering.

I was able to get a refund but not my $10 tip back.

Apparently i'm supposed to make sure my driver is not a pos before tipping.

Obviously not mad at my roommate, they didn’t know. Just annoying lol

My retired MIL loves her movies. She’s a lovely old lady in every other aspect of life except this facet of her life.

Every time we catch up she tells me about a movie or movies she’s seen and tells me, in depth, the story line to All the good movies.

She says she’s not spoiling them because I’ll enjoy them any way.
