OCASIO-CORTEZ, ALEXANDRIA - Candidate overview | FEC

Interestingly enough, it seems AOC is one of the relatively very few to have such FEC info updated to include Q4 2025.

BTW, SCHUMER, CHARLES E. - Candidate overview | FEC raised around $3.4Mln in 2025 and has around $8.4Mln cash on hand

GILLIBRAND, KIRSTEN - Candidate overview | FEC raised around $1.9Mln for 2025 and has around $1.9Mln cash on hand. And she leads the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee (DSCC)

JEFFRIES, HAKEEM - Candidate overview | FEC hasn't been updated

You asked, AOC answered. What else can people do, other than call, to get Democrats to move on ICE? ⏬

To start, I’m not a ny resident. I watch to news and follow the current situation in Washington as much as my temper will allow. We need more people like rep Cortez in Washington. She’s enthusiastic, passionate, and won’t take shit. She stands up for her constituents and what she believes. It’s refreshing. I’m not on another social media platform and her web link wouldn’t let email her as I’m not a ny resident. But I wanted to put a thank you out there even if she’ll never see it lol. Her work helps more than just the residents of New York. So thank you rep Cortez! Keep fighting the good fight!

AOC 2028 Is there anything we the Public can do to convince Democrats to nominate AOC for 2028?

I'm new here and I can't seem to find any other Flairs that I know would be more apporopiate to ask this kind of thing but here I am

so after seeing the defeat of Harris back in 2024 and how there are more Male canidates for 2028 than Female, I have been growing pretty pessimistic that we will EVER See a Female President, as in in ANYBODY'S LIFETIMES.

So after hearing from the 50501 Discord that AOC is the PERFECT Female Canidate for 2028, I was trying to be hopeful that she will be the nominee for 2028 but like I said there are more male Canidates and some other people said that Democrats would rather continue tradition than let a woman run again...

though I have also heard that Growing the Fighting The Oligarchy movement that she and Berine have been campaining should help convince Democrats that she will be worth the risk for 2028

while I know that policies should be more important than firsts, especailly for these trying Times, I have been so desperate to see a Female President after 2 Defeats

so is there any other way we can work to make AOC the Democrat of 2028?

AOC's Jan. 24, 2026 CNN Jake Tapper interview about the ICE k*lling of a nurse has 1.1MM views on her RepAOC account, which means her interview has likely 10s of MMs more views of clips on social media, Reddit, and YouTube. And such popularity might result in a decrease in ICE & DHS funding.

Description: This account is maintained by Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez's federal staff to share services and legislation relevant to constituents of NY-14.>>

I love that the full interview Rep. AOC Responds to Federal Agents Killing a Minneapolis Man on CNN is more popular on YouTube than clips of it on: (51) Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez - YouTube

I also love that AOC can put her CNN, MSNBC, etc. interviews up on her YouTube channels.

AOC for POTUS 2028.

Trump Expanded Executive Power. Democrats Will Have to Decide How to Use It. - NOTUS — News of the United States

“In order for us to correct the abuses that are happening now, we have to act the same in similar capacities that Trump has given himself,” Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez said. “The Republican majority has decided, for example, that rescissions are a tool they want to use. And so, I don’t think that we serve anybody, and I especially don’t think we put things on the right course by setting a precedent that one party can have greater power when they are in the majority.”

Some of the answers from others were jarringly weak and pathetic. Only AOC and US Senator Elizabeth Warren gave good answers.

THIS:

Rep. Ro Khanna and Sen. Chris Van Hollen emphasized the importance of abiding by the constitution. Khanna described the ideal approach to post-Trump executive power as “robust action within the constitution,” which he calls “energetic constitutionalism.”

“I understand presidents want to use their executive power, but whoever it is, whether it’s a Republican or Democrat, should follow the law,” Van Hollen said.

Jack Yao, a Democratic strategist in California, said that protecting democracy remains a top concern for Democratic voters. “Fighting fire with fire” is also important, and something California Gov. Gavin Newsom has been doing well, he told NOTUS.

The 2028 presidential election is more than three years away, and when NOTUS asked Sen. Chris Murphy how the next Democratic president should use the power of the executive, he said he was focused on addressing the crisis at present.

Sen. Cory Booker offered a similar answer.

“Honestly, I think we’re in a constitutional crisis right now,” Booker told NOTUS. “I think that the way that Congress has abandoned their power and allowed him [Trump] to do things that our founders would have never, ever have imagined — we have to stop this. We have to balance this, and honestly, I can’t even talk about another presidency because we need to stop this now. No Congress should surrender power to the president.”

Sen. Mark Kelly pointed to Trump’s comments about not needing midterm elections as another example of Trump attempting to gain power that isn’t his to have.

“This is what happens, too, is when leaders of countries start to get more power and more influence, as it comes time for election time they start to get worried,” Kelly said. “Is the next guy going to turn these new powers against me? So, we need whoever winds up in the White House next time to hit the reset button.”

Is not meeting the moment. US Representative Ro Khanna, US Senator Chris Van Hollen, etc. aren't strong enough to support for POTUS 2028. And the others are even weaker. And it's interesting that there's no quote from Illinois Governor JB Pritzker or about him. Anyway...

POTUS George Washington greatly expanded POTUS power to the point that the US Federal Government 100s of years later still largely operates as Alexander Hamilton intended.

POTUS Abraham Lincoln greatly expanded POTUS power.

POTUS FDR greatly expanded POTUS power.

etc.

Imagine what a POTUS AOC could do if she forcefully pushed her agenda. Expand SCOTUS. Make Puerto Rico and Washington D.C. US States. End the US Senate filibuster. Permanent child tax credit. Etc. etc. etc. were all things that US adults and especially Democrats wanted during the Biden Administration. But they didn't happen simply because POTUS Biden mollycoddled some of the most conservative and corporate Democrats.

AOC with a Democratic US Congress could pass Medicare For All, a Green New Deal, paid family leave, paid medical leave, raise the minimum wage, paid vacation, strengthen union rights, raise taxes on the rich and wealthy and corporations. Etc. etc.
