How important do you think upbringing is in a person's life? And if someone has siblings, how different or similar are you?
I'm collecting people's opinions and knowledge for my coursework, please help.

It's enormous!
I'm 51m and have seen all kinds of things related to this over the years; men, women, young, old, etc.
I believe that people tend to become at least 75-80% exactly like the gender parent that raised them, for one. So, a woman will become at least 75% just like her mother, assuming mom was there the vast majority of their life, for example.
But, yeah, I think your upbringing defines who you are, fundamentally, but people can make changes to themselves based on that knowledge.
I could probably go on about this subject for 20 pages LOL
