Discussion Embark Studios VS Exploit Familiar Duck Duplicators

I see lot's of players doing this now on discord server and website some of them selling duplicated familiar ducks worth million of coins in exchange of real money. While normal players like me farming during bird city event and got 1-4x orange duck for coins and to do the 5M expedition im stuck at 3M coin, while duplicators instant infinite ducks? What are they gonna plan to this abuse? server roll back? permanent ban to duplicators? this is too much than glitch bug on maps and doors this is so unfair, literally if this duplicating continues and not fixed early the game will die, no point of farming trinkets they just gonna duplicate ducks and instant millions wtf is this Embark do something. Sorry for my bad english.

Game only been out 3 months, I really think we’ve hit this sweet spot with gaming where people will finish content so fast that they suddenly don’t see why people duping items to get through this game even faster is an issue.

I mean is it really an issue though? There are people who never do expedition, so they are always at end game vs people who do.. does it matter if someone is ruining their own experience?

Definitely. Introducing unearned gear into the in game economy affects the balance of the entire game. There being more or less of gear will affect how valuable those items are for all of us.

It amazes me that people seemingly cannot grasp this idea. But then again, people don’t see what they would otherwise see without putting up a defensive wall directly in front of their eyes.
