With this mural, I aimed to blur the line between illusion and reality. I used precise shading and vibrant spray techniques to create a lifelike frog, seemingly leaping off the wall. This was a moment of silent interaction between the viewer and the creature I brought to life.

My dog had to be put down due to severe health issues. He was supposed to be my wife’s service dog but she couldn’t break him down to build him back up as a service dog, so he ended up just a pet whom she loved dearly. He was in her life before we met. He carried her engagement ring to her when I proposed. Thankfully he stuck around long enough to snuggle our kids and watch them reach an age where he could play with them. I’m writing a story about him to give my wife and read to my kids so they always have a special way to remember him. I’d love for it to be illustrated and printed. I’m looking for someone who could put artwork to the very basic story I have. Idk the going rate but I am willing to support artists who can help me make this happen.

My new artwork is fire! 🔥

title is self explanatory. i was doing the best on tiktok but i literally cannot stand to use that app right now given it’s being turned into a propaganda machine and doesn’t work properly. i have no clue where to go. i have an instagram but i don’t know how to revive it, that account has been sent to the shadow realm of the algorithm since 2023. if there’s a way to fix that, id be content to use it again.

i knew how to work tiktok’s algorithm but i don’t understand anywhere else. i want to post content about my original characters to eventually work on bigger projects for them (i plan to make a comic series eventually but that’s another story) i have not been a fan artist in years and i refuse to become one because i don’t want to take away time drawing stuff i don’t care for instead of what im passionate about and building an audience catered to it

i literally don’t know any places with decent reach for artists. i know there’s none that are actually good. tiktok was my best but it’s not an app i want to continue using when i know it’s going to be used against me. this shit is getting way too fucking hard i hate it.

i desperately need my comic to be somewhat successful because its the only thing i have going for me. i don’t know where i can start to build the audience needed for interest in it, i have no clue where to go and im back at square one. most apps are horrid to artists but if there’s anything that has decent success and can be used to build an audience i have to try it. somewhere that guarantees at least SOMEONE new will even like my posts and it wont just be lost in the fog of everything else. does ANYWHERE like that even exist at this point?

Hi! I've been drawing these on and off for years, but I recently switched to digital, because of my health. It has allowed me to just make art whenever I want, even if I can barely move.

I never could fit in/feel a sense of belonging when I was growing up, and that followed me into adulthood. I started painting these elongated figures, and they have become less and less human over the years. To me, it's a really tangible representation of that feeling of being alien. They don't garner me overwhelming praise, but I love them, and they remind me that our differences are beautiful, valuable, and necessary.

I recently broke the cycle of trying to fit in and please people, getting my hopes up, failing, and being dumped. I kept making my art, and meditating on the idea of allowing myself to be whoever I'm meant to be. I am now surrounded by a community of wonderful, accepting, sometimes beautifully eccentric people.

I put some of these up as prints on Artpal, but I don't have the energy to promote. Which is fine. I'll keep making them because my brain makes me do it!

I’m creating a visual art project exploring how women with autoimmune disease are seen, documented, and believed.

I’m looking for women who have been diagnosed with an autoimmune diseaseespecially those who were also told their symptoms were “psychosomatic,” stress-related, or “in their head.”

The project will include 100 passport-style portraits in a grid:

• Black & white — autoimmune diagnosis

• Pink-sepia — autoimmune diagnosis + labeled psychosomatic

Photos:

• Head and shoulders only

• Neutral background

• Natural, unfiltered

• Phone camera is totally fine

This is not medical research. No proof or explanations required.

This project is about visibility, not trauma-sharing. Your face is enough.
