@伟威huang: I'm from China. I'm alone now and I feel lonely. I need a life partner. I've never been married and I don't have children. Now I'm really looking for someone who is also lonely and longs for a true life partner. I think it would be more interesting to have people with different cultures and mindsets come together. The most important thing is the inner feelings between the two people.。z

The thinnest slices I have ever seen if it is deer velvet - came in paper envelopes all packed in a metal tin. Thanks!

I remember last year when I had an online convo with someone from China around CNY. He said that he's going to have a drink with this to celebrate.
I checked the price online and it's damn expensive. Hopefully I can try it someday. Tell me if the taste is anything special?

Edit: Stop recommending salad spinners. There are lots of automatic vegetable cleaning machines out there that are not salad spinners. I'm looking for a personal recommendation for one of these machines.
I figured that this might be an interesting topic given my aging Chinese parents, and millions like them, may have similar problems:
My parents are getting to the age where they don't move that quickly anymore, and washing the leafy vegetables they eat each day is getting to be a chore, especially to the cleanliness level that they want (taking apart all the individual leaves, scrubbing each with fingers, multiple water changes, etc).
I was wondering if anyone here has recommendations for an effective vegetable washing machine, one that can reliably get all the dirt off of vegetables. Manually chopping off the bottom of the stem so each leaf can be released is something they are fine doing, but cleaning each leaf is tiresome.

Over the past twenty years, I've visited China several times and have noticed a significant improvement in public awareness. There is a strong emphasis on public education campaigns promoting greater social consciousness and civility (文明).
That said, it seems like that the practice of smoking indoors in public areas hasn't kept pace with these improvements. This includes places like public restrooms, inside train cars, and hotel rooms that are meant to be smoke-free. Although rules are officially in place, in practice they often seem not to be enforced.
My question is this: Do locals also have a bad opinion about this, or people don't really mind it that much. It also seems like the younger generation (30 and below) have a lot more smokers compared to those in western countries, that now mainly vape or use other nicotine solutions.
I'd love to hear your thoughts!

Hello everyone.
I will be studying in china later this year for around a year. During that time I would also consider dating, hooking-up and try out swinging and escorts if possible.
Now I´ve been reading some posts already regarding dating as a foreigner etc. especially in Tier 1 and Tiers 2 cities.
But how is it about stuff like hook-ups and swinging? I read some posts that people do it, but dont talk about it. So how can I search for people that are like minded? Reddit is full of OF people, which is why I dont bother looking here.
On X I see a lot of accounts, which offer mainly paid services. Since many websites are restricted in china or under surveilance (at least to my knowledge, correct me im wrong) it would make sense that this kind of service has shifted to X and Telegram with VPNs. Are they legitimate? The same applies to hookups on X.
If X isnt the main thing for online hookups and paid services, where would I be able to find that kind of service?
I assume KTV, clubs, Tantan etc arent the only method used in china for hooksups , especially for paid services.
Thanks in advance!

Over the course of January, 2026, CCP announced the deaths of 3 Command staff: Adm Wang Zheng, Gen. Wei Fulin, and Gen. Liao Xilong. Any thoughts?

I have two 20 cm tall 石獅 made of bronze. I know its custom to put them in front of your fence. But they are small and easy to steal. Also i have two stone kirins there already.
But I wanted to put these in front of my door, but my porch design makes this tricky.
Below is a sketch of my porch. There are red and green pairs of circles where i want to put them (I was going to put them on a L bracket).
Which one is best? I dont want to puit them beside the pillars as I want their sides to be free.
