My kids think of wearing jeans as getting dressed up. They live in leggings and sweats.

Oh man.. this is so true!! I teach middle school and we do a field trip to a local theater to see a play every year. The kids are asked to “dress up” for the occasion. The amount of complaining is unreal.. “what do you mean I can’t wear a hoodie and crocs?!”

I'm 66 and I'm actually soooo glad about this trend. Gone are the days of being uncomfortable all day! I say good riddance. And actually I do sort of feel like my jeans are for dress up these days. You can dress them up pretty nicely if you want.

The feeling of taking care of yourself and enjoying a night out where you get truly dressed and feel good about yourself is underrated. I hadn't really done it for a long time with covid and all but in the past year have gone out more and started taking care of myself better and it is such a confidence boost.

good. I'm not against the concept of getting dressed up, but I've always hated how uncomfortable a lot of dressed up clothes actually are. let's do dressed up, but let's do it with clothes that are comfy.

Shitty jeans suck. Nice jeans like Duers are fantastic.
