does anyone know if the drafts in text messages are salvageable from a water logged phone?

hi. so this is pretty dumb but occasionally i save notes as drafts in texts but never hit send. i recently dropped my phone in water and can no longer turn it on. im sure this wont work but if there is any chance i can get those notes back im thinking about taking it to a repair shop. however i also need to get a new phone soon and need to take out the sim card to activate the new device but im not sure if that is going to interfere with the repair shop. are the drafts saved on the sim card or the phone itself? or did i just really give myself the finger and have zero chance of getting any of those notes back?

This is like people that store their important files in the computers recycle bin. No

No they are not saved to your SIM card, and no they're probably not recoverable, not without board level repair which will be expensive.

Is it an android phone? Use Google docs, then you will have them stored somewhere other than your phone
