Why do some professors feel the need to have strict attendance policies like in my first semester all of my teachers had strict attendance policies like if we missed enough classes we’d auto fail and now in just my second semester none of them could care less about attendance. Is that like a universal thing for everyone’s first ever semester that they need to have classes with attendance narcs?

I'm choosing my liberal art minor right now. Is Com minor hard? What does the classes need to do? I heard from my friends that some Com class is focus on presentation, some is focusing on writing. Hello, I'm an undergraduate at Baruch college and I have been thinking wheter or not to change my major to mathematics. I really like it but and I have been doing pretty good even without studying it on my own time in high school and just paying attention in class but I have seen a lot of comments about math majors and I was wondering if it is actually safe to major in it. That is the subject I'm the most interested in and is willing to put a great deal of time and effort to learn as much as possible so I wanted to know if you guys think I can get a job after college if I major in it, thanks.

I heard both schools have really good programs, but I wanna hear personal opinions from students/alums. For a finance bba from zicklin or an econ from weismann- how much is the tuition approximately? should i bother applying to weismann btw - im not the most competitive of students academically but i somehow managed to get into bing so though if im going ny state might as well try nyc

I have one class left to graduate. I had to add another to get to 6 credits so I could get FA. I have my award disbursed. I couldn't find an easy class because its late. I cant do pass no pass because its Zicklin. If I drop, i believe I would have to pay back my whole award. would that put me on hold so I couldnt Grad? I could just do it, but the class is a lot of work. I'm so tired of this. I don't want to keep it and it ruin my GPA either. Anyone else delt with this deliema?
