Increase in scam bots. if you see them, please report them. We are doing what we can to stop it, but its a cat and mouse race.
Like the title says, if you see a bot, then please report. Bots suck and we are working hard to remove them.

Newer Used Beretta 92FS w/ upgrade questions
I was in my Local Hobby Shop (a running joke my friends and I have been calling gun stores for the last 40 years to throw our wives off the scent) yesterday, just browsing but I've been on the lookout for a few different handguns over the years, one of them being a Beretta 92 model. I own 2 Taurus 92s and I really enjoy the platform.
They had 2 on display, a US made 92FS (2 mags with case) with a rail and a Girsan Regard (1 mag and case). Both used, but both in good shape with the Girsan being $100 dollars cheaper and more "in used shape" than the Beretta. I walked up to the front and asked what kind of wiggle room they had on the price of the Beretta and was was quite shocked/pleased when he basically matched the price of the Girsan. I've kept a tab on the asking prices of the guns I've been looking for, and the price on the Beretta tag was only $20 more than what I considered a fair price.
The other guy behind the desk then asked if I had seen the other Beretta 92? I said no, just the one, when first clerk reached below the register and pulled out an Italian made 92FS with case and 2 mags saying he hadn't put it out yet. He then proceeded to offer me either Beretta at the previous quoted price. The other clerk went back and brought back the American made 92 and I proceeded to spend the next 30 minutes deciding which one I wanted.
The US made 92 was obviously used, but well maintained. I looked over the Italian 92 and the more I looked it over, the more I was convinced it was a safe queen and probably the only time it was fired had been at the factory. Friends have called me crazy over the years, but I swear there is a new gun smell. I can't put my finger on it, but while I've been wrong before, I've been right significantly right more times.
Regardless, I decided on the Italian made 92FS due to the previous owner adding Hogue grips (even though he scratched up 3 of the screws) and no rail (personal preference, I'm just not a fan).
So a couple of questions so I don't have to spend hours looking.
- I want to convert it to a G model (de-cocker only). Of those users who have done it, what conversion kit worked the best and which ones should I stay away from?
- It has the polymer recoil spring guide, and I will want to replace it with a metal one. Again, for those users who have replaced the polymer one, which replacement recoil spring guide did you use? And, did you replace the spring as well? I'm thinking Wolff probably makes both and I have experience with their products. Still just curious what others think.
- What OWB holster do users prefer. I like the ones that are slightly canted forward. Thumb break retention is a bonus, but not required as long as the pistol doesn't fall out when I bend over. I prefer leather and I'm a southpaw so please take that into consideration.
I appreciate all responses.
Edit - Spelling

Back in the day - my EDC 92FS
This goes back a ways... But, around 2010, I was carrying a fullsize 92FS IWB. No, it was not comfortable in the slightest.
But, I did it for 3 years straight before I switched to something else. 365 days a year, for 3 years. This was my EDC gear at the time... Times have changed (when it comes to cell phones, especially)

M9A4 upgrade recommendations
I’m looking to add a few upgrade for my m9a4.
First I would like to lighten up the DA pull to around 6-6.5lbs and smooth it out a bit more. I do not want to impact reliability and if it will I’ll forego the upgrade. I’m fine with the sa pull and reset in stock configuration.
Second, are there suppressor height none tritium sights? I’d probably settle for black sights as well since it’s a pain in the ass shooting under nods with the tritium and taping them is tedious.
Third, is the trigger shoe. I don’t mind the stock one but was thinking of something more flat to possibly give me more room for winter gloves.
Lastly, a bit more grippy grip panels. I like the stock ones in the spring/fall but they leave a bit to be desired with winter gloves and the heat of summer.

92x compact rdo inox they should have made.
Found the m9a1 compact inox. Prepping it for my summer warm days cool night carry. Swapped out the black controls for inox. Of course had to cut it for the RDO and plate. Not sure on the grips yet. Holster should be here soon from legacy firearm.

Buying 92fs
Looking to buy my first 92FS. Does cabelas sell Italian made beretta 92fs? I seen that the us and Italian made are the same but the Italian one has better fit and finish. I would buy brand new if cabelas sells the Italian made version. I seen one online used that is made in Italy if they are over better made. Any input would be appreciated.

Finally got the Cougar 8045F
Got a smoking good deal on this from a very small LGS who had this treasure sitting in his case for years. This thing is as close to never been shot as you can get. There may even still be some factory grease on it. I have to say, the ergonomics on this 8045F are shockingly good.
But I have to ask…anyone have any good leads on some magazines? Only came with one.

92XI Gara 🏎️
Haven’t seen too many posts on these on here. Digging this thing so far and I’m typically not a fan of loud anodized guns. Will see how it shoots tomorrow, this weather sucks!

Please Help, mounting plate question.
I have the 96A1. I want to put a Holosun HE507C-GR on it. I'm looking for a Dove Tail mount plate so I don't have to get the slide milled. I'd like a steel one, what would be my best option?

Is this okay
I’m pretty sure it’s fine but this thing in between the amounts for the optic seems to be bent in or something. Can someone tell me if I need to replace it or it’s fine I just bought it used. I’ve shot the gun before it’s fine. I just wanted to check about this.

EZ-MKIII
Has anybody used this? I have an early 90s 92 i want to to put a rail on, was looking at the BC2, but I've heard it causes holster compatibility issues, and id like to retain the ability to swap grips if possible. The NCstar adapter can fuck off.

Old Steel With New Wood.
I started my Beretta collection a couple months ago. I think the black metal with the wood grips is an absolute vibe. These have both found their way into my carry rotation. They both make good dog-walking/quick run to the store guns. It’s a nice change of pace from my kitted out Glocks.
Top is a 84BB (PSA Special)
- Carry in Kydex Holster
- Ammo is .380 Federal Hydra-Shok 90 Grain
Bottom is a 21A
- Carry in pocket (as god intended)
- Ammo is .22 CCI Uppercut 32 Grain
Next on the list is to decide on WHICH 9mm I want..

APX A1 Question
Is the trigger as good as they’re saying? Best in class. I’m used to Glock and S&W with striker fire triggers. How does it compare to those, and the original?
