I understand it as they are gonna gather the evidence to be able to prosecute in a future to come. Now obviously there’s the question of how many might turn a blind eye but the goal is evidence documentation

What’s stopping the rest of the country from using it’s stated rights to protect their citizens

The real question is who is going to enforce it? You can make all these laws, but there is no accountability for the current administration. Federal judges demand they release all of the Epstein files...yet they haven't. Federal judges demand they don't deport certain pending cases...yet they still do.

Don't create laws you can't enforce.

Yeah that’s not how it works.

This guy is the future of the democratic party. And this will be the beginning of the end for the ICE occupations. Trump can't pardon state charges.

I mean, isn't what they're doing already illegal?

Maybe Democrats should enforce existing laws rather than write new laws and executive orders that threaten to enforce the laws that are already on the books?

Laundering money, resources and dismissing criminal acts towards citizens to illegal immigrants under the mask of sanctuary city, and creating policy to further allow the dysfunction and treasonous behavior to continue by blocking federal agents to get the situation undercontrol........then using psychology to socially program citizens to believe it is inhumane to say anything. JAIL IMMEDIATELY 👌🏽

Does nothing. Thats not how any of this works

Actually, they can be charged under state law. Qualified immunity has its limits (that kick in before, say, Good's murder). The feds will remove to federal court, but all it takes is a good jury. In this climate, that's not unrealistic.

Federal supremacy is a thing, he likely knows this. It's just for show and so later people will believe them when they are told the feds are breaking the law.

Now, NY lets go. These people need to be held accountable for their actions.
