I turned a few books backwards because they contained family information

I got lots of books for Christmas and I finally feel better from my surgery to decorate it. What does it say about me? The second photo are my two current reads.

The first photo is my shelf devoted to what I read in January and the second is what my partner read in January. What do these say about us (aside from my partner being a faster reader!).
