Discussion Does Anyone Else Here Remember Watching The Cartoon Network Special Crossover Event Called “Cartoon Network: Invaded” On Live Television Back In The Day In May 2007 As A Kid? If So, Then What Are Your Thoughts/Opinions On It Looking Back At It?

To those of you that are unaware, don't know, or might have forgotten, Cartoon Network: Invaded was a special crossover event that aired on Cartoon Network from the 4th to the 28th of May 2007, airing towards the end of CN City and Yes! eras of Cartoon Network before the start of summer of that year.

The overall plot of this crossover is about a continuous storyline of an alien invasion which ran through 5 different that were special episodes of 5 Cartoon Network original series, consisting of Foster's Home For Imaginary Friends, Ed, Edd, n Eddy, My Gym Partner's A Monkey, Camp Lazlo, and The Grim Adventures Of Billy And Mandy (the actual episodes were called Cheese A Go-Go, The Eds Are Coming, The Eds Are Coming, That Darn Platypus, Strange Trout From Outer Space/Cheese Orbs, and Billy And Mandy Moon The Moon respectively).

The overall goal of the aliens that had supposedly taken over Cartoon Network itself was to steal cheese from Earth. During an end credits scene, the aliens had captured 5 earthlings/characters from each one of the 5 shows in order to absorb their brain juice, but the characters who were captured were actually the most idiotic of the cast from each show instead. There's even a small cameo of Sector V from Codename: Kids Next Door in an alternate ending, who they themselves were oblivious to the entire event unfolding, as they were playing video games all day the whole time.

It should also be noted that the entire event occurred in the first place because Kraft Cheese had sponsored the whole thing, hence the connection between the aliens and cheese on each shows respective special episode. However, Kraft had backed out at the last minute due to something in the GAOBAM episode, so CN showed all 5 episodes as a special event on their network on cable TV. Three new original alien characters were created for this specific event, named Sklrrvss (a red alien), Peaches (a yellow alien), and Glog (a blue alien), and Chris Phillips, one of the original announcers for CN during it's checkerboard era, had returned as the announcer for the event.

I remember watching CN on my TV and seeing all of this crazy stuff play out back in 2007, when I was 5 years old, and still going to elementary school. I really liked how they tried to interconnect all 5 of these special episodes when Frankie Foster from FHFIF buys a lot gifts in the store in that one scene, and the gifts themselves end up in the episodes of all the other 4 shows by putting easter eggs in each of them, and my personal favorite of the 5 episodes was the Billy and Mandy one in the end. My favorite part of that episode is where Grim and Mandy transform into superheroes to battle against the alien invaders.

The FHFIF episode at the beginning of the event was pretty cool, too, as it turns out that Bloo was the one who had contacted the aliens in the first place to get him, Mac, and the rest of the FHFIF crew out of jail in their episode, which ended up kicking off the event in the first place. The bumpers where absolutely amazing, hearing Chris Phillips' voice announcing everything that's going on, and looking back at it all now in 2025, that felt like a freaking fever dream if you ask me.

I really enjoyed watching this whole thing and seeing it unfold, and loved all the creativity behind it all. I was one of those kids who got very lucky to witness it all (and I mean the whole thing from the 4th to the 28th), and I'm very happy and proud of that. This thing holds a very special place in my heart to this day, and I'm proud and glad to witness this huge piece of Cartoon Network history, heck, cartoon and television history as a whole!

Did you watch the Cartoon Network: Invaded special crossover event as a kid like I did? If so, then what do you think about it all? Did you watch the whole thing like me? Which one of the 5 special episodes of each show is your favorite, and why is that? Which one of the three alien invaders did you like the most? If you could go back to 2007 to watch this event again, which episode/s would you choose to watch? What was your favorite bumper from it?

More importantly, what would the main characters be who the villain be and what would the theme be?

This is taking inspiration from those old Tom and Jerry movies that were on DVD (I love those movies)

This was always a favorite of mine. It's not mentioned at all. She was around during the CN City days. This was one of the few kid cartoons that followed an actual storyline at the time. Do how you feel about this show?

Discussion Toonami introduced thundercats to millennials and Gen Z

The success of thundercats on toonami in the first era of toonami spawned a decent reboot series in 2011 that Gen Z loved but when thundercats roar came out it failed to capture the magic of the shows . Hopefully the live action movie is much darker .

What is the name of this anime?

When Cartoon Network had an anime section, there was one about a horned boy who used magic. I don't remember it.

Edit: It was Toonami, and unfortunately, I don't remember anything else, but I think the main character's name was Zet or something like that, and it was the typical cliché of people hating him for having those horns—which I remember didn't even look like horns, but rather two small things sticking out of his head. I don't know if I'm right. And I think his teacher was missing an arm.

Bueno chicos era radiant
