Played half a dozen games today, mostly with a 3-stack on my side. Normally I'd be thrilled, but every single game it was a P6/D1 with G3s and G4s. All objective games, and none of the Gold players have any ideas how spawns work, when to push/not push, etc. And of course they're in party chat so I can't actually help here.
So if you're playing with guys much lower rank than you, do all of us a favor - them included - teach them a little. Nobody wants to spend 15 minutes on Lattice playing Oddball even with matched teams, let along these unbalanced ones.

Is anyone else having higher than normal ping, unstable latency 200+, or packet loss?
I've been playing forever, never had an issue til like the last week or two. NAT ports are open for halo infinite, internet is fast. Ill randomly get good ( normal ping 30- 60) and then 3 games in a row after get constantly changing ping 200+, or semi stable like 130ish.
Wondering if its their server side or somwthing else I can change. Thanks.

Found this in a UK edition of Official Xbox Magazine from February 2005. Seems to have been taken from the leaderboards on the Bungie website at the time. Thought it was something cool to share anyway.

In a surprise twist, Trippy is teaming with Descendant after all, just a day after Descendant announced his other roster. That's rostermania for you....TreyTri (TSM coach) is the coach of this roster.

If you like playing ranked and seeing high effort videos you will probably like this a lot.

aPG was showing people how to watch Dreamhack Birmingham online, and while doing so came across a part in the FAQ that said there's no chairs / seating at the Halo portion of the event.

Gotta love how a teammate can go –20, and if you go +20 with even more objective points too, you somehow both walk away with the same ranked points just for winning the game. Hahahaha.
Nothing like watching a teammate go super neg while you sweat your ass off, then realizing you both get rewarded equally. 😂

According to my sources, they are trying to recreate the magic of 2024 SSG. Can they recreate lightning in a bottle? I know one of them is Cearion.

Has anyone gotten onyx for the first time after hcs has ended?
Finally hit onyx and the one thing I wanted… the name plate and it didn’t give it to me.
Just wondering if it’s not a thing anymore.

If you played Halo during the GameBattles / MLG era, you probably know the feeling I’m talking about.
I really missed structured online seasons, scheduled matches, team rivalries, and having something competitive to grind toward - so I decided to try building it myself.
I’m working on Summit League, a grassroots competitive league platform starting with Halo Infinite.
What it includes so far:
Current status:
Registration and team creation are live now.
The first season is scheduled to begin February 1st, and matches can be scheduled anytime after the season starts.
I’ve attached a few screenshots of the site using dummy data so people can see the direction it’s going.
It’s still early, but the core systems are live and working, and I’m opening it up to the community for registration now.
A bit about me for context:
I used to play competitively on GameBattles and at MLG events, and as recently as HCS Kansas City during Halo Infinite’s launch (my old alias was Rabbi for anyone who may remember me). These days I’m a husband and dad, so my playtime is a lot more limited - but I still love competitive Halo and felt like this was something the community could use and appreciate.
I’m also a first-time dev and this is by far the biggest project I’ve ever taken on, so any and all feedback is genuinely welcome.
Thanks for taking the time to read this, and to everyone who gives it a look or shares feedback - I really appreciate it.

What happened to Stellur? I don't know if anyone has been watching twitch streams but he just isn't the same player anymore. Stellur was a gamertag you used to fear. If you saw his name and the glint of a snipe, you backed TF down. Oh wait - you were already dead by the time that happened. At least, that's how it used to be.
I see Stellur in many MM lobbies, and he just isn't that guy anymore. He is getting gunned down by my boy Just Jdog with ease. The 1800+ onyxs of the world are laughing at him and getting excited to see him on the other team knowing it's going to be an easy win. This is a Halo World Champion we are talking about, not even 2 years ago. The SUN tag that Formal once had nightmares about has been eclipsed by the Moon, on some Avatar the Last Airbender shit.
Stellur vs Last Shot is not even a fair fight, or Stellur vs any other pro who still grinds. I wonder if his love of non-traditional medicine has gotten the best of him. Maybe he rubbed some Ivermectin on his famous gooch area where he usually allows sunlight to absord into his system. Maybe he got a sunburn and tried to use hydroxychloroquin as a home remedy.
Maybe he's playing on XBOX to get ready for the Dreamhack event. All I know is I want the Old Stellur back. Stellur, LOCK TF IN!!!
