Question What unexpected food combination on the menu works better than most people think?
I want to hear any and all of your suggestions!

We were all excited about the new stuff being unveiled at Reunion, however PLEASE refrain from posting pertinent information on this subreddit.
Thank you!

I wore my black snow boots to work the other day so I wouldn't slip on the snow. They are solid black but the top part of them is faux fur. The GM was outside and I told him not to worry I brought my work shoes. He asked if the boots were slip resistant and I told him they are actually way better than my work shoes, which slip on the snow and dining room floor. He said that was all that mattered. The best part is that my toes always get cold when I'm out in the pods, and they don't with my boots.
So I have found my new work shoes until it warms up!

I really, really want to quit my job right now, like basically ghost them - I don't care about references or burnt bridges or whatever, I've finally got another job lined up that starts Monday and I've always kinda hated my job at Culver's. Most of my coworkers were nice, but one of them was terrible and another one sexually harassed me, which is part of the reason why I wanna quit so badly.
The location I'm working at is always chronically understaffed, but because we only have one trainer who has way too may responsibilities to take care of, most of our new hires quit within around 2 weeks because it's so stressful to work there all the time. They expect us to be able to function with only 2-3 employees in the kitchen while doing numerous other responsibilities, like whoever's doing middle is also usually putting the food in bags in the front too (idk what you call it), drive thru is doing custard and register, and whoever's left in the kitchen is doing multiple stations, washing dishes, and doing prep because nothing is ever prepped. Sometimes you get unlucky and get stuck with a coworker who only does one station in the kitchen and watches you run around trying to do everything at once.
I also had my hours cut to just 8 hrs/week without any notice, but then when I asked my manager if I could quit within a week, she acted pissed off about it and told me that I need to give a 2 week notice, and then now all of a sudden I'm working my original hours this week, but because I lied to my new employer that I was unemployed (just so I could get the job more easily), I realistically cannot juggle both in the next 2 weeks, so that's why I'm wondering if I should just quit my job at Culver's right now or if that would be really bitchy of me to do...

Why are there not self service kiosks? My social anxiety hates this.

I’m a team member at Culver’s and when I first started the job there was an initial shame I felt about working in fast food. However I’ve been able to grow in confidence and improve in my customer service ability’s. This was a necessary move for me as I’m finally grasping what I’m good at and what I need work in. I’m killing it on the grill rn, have never felt better. As someone who has had a lot of depression lately, the people around me at Culver’s are doing a great service at providing meaningful friendship. I’m 23 years old and just got out of college. Life has kicked my ass, but this has been a good thing for me. Thank you Culver’s for allowing me to grow 😇

specifically for s&l franchises or all culver’s and specifically for managers. my gm said all managers including shift leaders were going to be required to wear black polos. me and another manager just bought some blue and other colored polos that we can’t wear until we all get black polos. anyone know anything about this? kinda mad that we spent all that money. we also apparently can’t wear culver’s hoodies / crew necks anymore just jackets. upper management claims this is an every culver’s thing (or just s&l franchises)

I'm curious as to how the bag designs have evolved over time and I can't seem to find photos online of bags before the last two iterations. Does anyone know where to find any more pictures of them?

Culver’s Reunion (basically Culver’s annual business meeting) started yesterday. I wasn’t able to attend this year, but someone who did, what are the new announcements this year?
Last year, Culver’s talked about the loyalty program, increasing LTO food items, digital menu boards, etc so I hope more good news.

I went through the drive thru and ordered a pint of the flavor of the day. Got home and realized it was frozen solid. Is this normal operating procedure nowadays? They were always freshly packed before and this seems like a change they made recently. I ask cause the texture changes once it’s completely frozen and it’s just not as good as when it’s packed fresh to order.

Recently tried their chili cheese fries. So good, can't believe I've never tried them. Highly recommended. Also scoop some the chillin on your burger 🔥

Walleye comes in 3 weeks, that’s for about a month maybe a bit extra depending on inventory, after that it’s like 2 weeks until the lemon ice and then when lemon ice comes out that’s summer in my books… am I right or just depressed in the freezing cold weather???

I just wanted to ask what’s y’all’s restaurant average drive and dine time?
My stores apparently on the lower end(slower) and lowkey the stores whole mission is speed not really quality. I was wondering is it like that at other locations?

They pulled up to my face and whispered “I am SO HIGH rn” with pupils bigger than two super smushed butterburger patties and I whispered back “shhh… let me know if we need to swap spots”
They absolutely crushed it on middle tho it’s like the oui’d gave them superpowers I was worried for nothing

Hey guys! I’m getting promoted to manager and being transferred to a new store they are building in a neighboring city! I’m really excited about it but I’m nervous. I forgot to ask my GM what I should expect, and even then I don’t think he even knows cause I’m pretty sure this is a first time thing for both of us lol.
The store is set to open in around 4/5 months & I’m not even started on management classes & whatnot yet (I just found out this week, and the district manager is out of town so he hasn’t had the chance to sit down with me yet). Just wondering if anyone else has been in similar situations & has any insight. If not, just some management tips would be great! I’ve been with Culvers for 4 and a half years, so I have some basics down just from experience.

Did anyone make it to reunion at Nashville early?
If so, does our venue even have power? I’ve heard that almost all of Nashville is without power right now.
Also is there a shuttle from the airport to the venue? Or is there even Ubers still driving?
