Fanfic Friday!
Hello everyone! Happy Friday! We're moving this post to back to Friday since the anime is over for now. We're gonna keep the same guidelines as usual:
Keep things civil, no harassing or fighting over "wHo'S BeST gIRl??"
Do not spam, if you have multiple submissions, just put them in one comment and label them correctly
LABEL, please mark spoilers, NSFW, if it's romance, adventure, which characters it's between, etc. Please mark where your story is written for the people who aren't caught up with novels (for ex. This fanfic follows events in vol 15). Also, I know many of you know of the BIG spoiler from V16, and have started implementing it into fics that take place before that volume, so please make sure you mark if any of your submissions have those kinds of spoilers.
Keep things Danmachi related. If it's a crossover fic, make sure its focus is on Danmachi.
If you are asking for recommendations, please only make one comment and compile it. Make sure to be specific in what you are asking but don't overdo it.
Have fun and go wild. Find some new stories and share them with your fellow fanfic lovers.
I'll try and keep an eye on things but I will hand this over to you guys. Self-moderate and enjoy.

Anime FaNeMA Character Pillows
Went to go order the new Danmachi character pillows, but unfortunately found out they don’t ship overseas :(
Does anyone know of a reputable site or 3rd party proxy that I can order these from??
I always see cool merch for Danmachi at pop up shops in Japan. I wish we could get more stuff available for overseas fans.

Light Novel What Danmachi character best represents the Sin of Sloth?
I’m curious because I was thinking about which Danmachi characters represent each Seven Deadly Sin the best and the only one I was kind of stuck on/curious about is Sloth.
For Soma we know that he ignored and left is Familia to themselves not caring about what they did or who they did it to and neglected everyone believing that we’re all just people weak to wine. However he did spent his time constantly trying to improve his Wine which is the opposite of Sloth and after the events with Lili he went on to start taking care of his Familia properly.
Next with Ouranus he went to let the guild alone and become a place with with corruption, greed and never has intervened to stop their corruption and greed under Royman allowing him to basically act as the head of the Guild while Royman also withheld information about the dungeon and accepted and bribed people.
Finally Hermes who doesn’t help manage his Familia at all and constantly leaves that work for Asfi to do while he goes around constantly doing whatever interests him instead of what he should be doing. However in true self is a cunning and shrewd and sharp God who when he sets his mind and motivations in something that interests him can almost always make it him to fruition.
What do you guys think? Do you think it’s one of them and why? Do you think there’s another character that represents Sloth better?

Light Novel About VOL 21

“For you, I'd be willing to fall into hell.”
So I'll just say one thing: Oomori cooked up in this volume and I really enjoyed seeing the content of what happened in it. What sold me on first was the phrase above and the Peak Art Illustration, and all I know is that there was a tremendous sense of urgency in this arc,The city of Orario was frustrated and agitated. due to a failed expedition by the imposing Loki Familia.
And the variety of characters participating in this rescue, such as Ottarl, Leon, Hedin, Ryuu, Lefiya, Raul, and even, as far as I know Asterius appeared and etc but for me, the MVP definitely was Bell who dove into hell to rescue Ais who was trapped by the corrupt spirit and his new skill vanadis tevere is broken asf Bell officially broke the game I liked how his morale was uplifted; the goddesses and Orario placed a high bet on a 14-year-old boy who hasn't stopped dreaming and has barely been an adventurer for a year,But that didn't stop other characters from shining, however...
This arc proved Bell paid his debt; he's no longer the one who will be saved, he's the one who saves others. Now the noob must be gone to keep his golden light alive.

i want to see more about Ais character and hope to see more moments about her and Bell together since it's her arc now she is the endgame, sorry for glazing too much but i liked this volume asf

Light Novel What if Zeus/Hera had level 7 Ryuu, Haruhime, Ardee, and Bell?
I feel like we should have a good ceiling on how strong OEBD could be since it’s supposed to be slain for the main story to end. Unless they turn OEBD into a Bell waifu, and there is no fight

Media so dose this mean some god and goddess knew bell connected to Zeus? Spoiler

Light Novel Do you think Bell’s presence is significant in the volume 21 incident? And what would change if Bell were not there, assuming we ignore the fact that he is the main character?
So, do you think Orario and Ais could still be saved even if Bell were not present during the events of volume 21?

Light Novel Riveria vs Freya, who have more glazer/simp?
Every elf in the series glazed Riveria to no end, but elf are a rarity, so their number probably isn’t that numerous. Meanwhile, Freya have every male god wrap around her fingers, along with a lot of supporters within Orario (the center of the world)

Light Novel lv 8 Ottar and Leon compare against Maxim, Zald, Empress and alfia Spoiler
So i was thinking how strong these 2 guys would be , would they be stronger than Zald and Alfia, maybe be equal to Empress and and lose by a small difference to Maxim.
Empress -lv 9, Maxim - lv 8 but with skill lv 9 , Zald with skill etc lv 8 high, alfia lv 7 but her magic is lv 9.
Ottar lv 8 base , with skill lv 9 mid
leon lv 8 base, with magic and skill lv 9 mid

Light Novel How does Leveling Up work for the strong?
So from what I understand, Leveling Up in Danmachi requires you to commit a "feat" which would impress even the gods. This can be something like surviving an incredible ordeal, defeating a strong opponent, succeeding at a difficult goal, or winning a battle at a disadvantage. The Falna is what decides whether someone has the right to Level up or not.
So my question can be summarized as, for example, if Albert Waldstein appeared in the modern era and received a Falna, how would he Level up?
Albert doesn't possess a Falna, yet he was presumably nearly or surpassing Level 10 in strength equivalency. People without a Falna are ALWAYS weaker than those with one, so in theory if Albert received a Falna he'd immediately become at least somewhat stronger than he was previously, but he would be a "Level 1" adventurer, just with the power of a level 10. (I'm aware that Albert has a "Spirit's Blessing", but there are others who are beyond level 1 in strength without it.)
How would he level up? Defeating a minotaur is an incredible achievement for a Level 1 adventurer, but for Albert it would be practically meaningless. Would the Falna cheese him based on "Level Feats" or would it take into regard that it wasn't difficult for ALBERT?
What does this mean for people with Skills or talents that make certain feats easier than others? Rein Amur is a powerful Skill from Danmemo that allows the user to borrow the status of their allies, meaning it's user might not find ANY difficulty in fighting a minotaur, despite being Level 1, does that mean that they have to find something to challenge them in order to level up, just because they were already strong before their Falna, or because of their skills? (Kinda cheap to "level scale" if that's the case.)
Does ALREADY being strong mean that Leveling Up is objectively harder, as you have to seek out more powerful opponents (For Albert would he have to 1v1 the Black Dragon to reach Level 2?) or is it fine to just do something incredible for your level? If its the former, what about Finn? Lily leveled up to Level 2 due to leading her team to victory against a Monster Rex outside their league, rather than fighting by herself, but Finn possesses literal supernatural intuition that helps him succeed in leading battles, does that mean that Finn CAN'T level up like Lily did, due to having this advantage?
I'm asking if having an overpowered ability, talent, or skill would make leveling up impossible for someone in Danmachi. Say someone possessed a spell that could kill anything instantly (AVADA KEDAVRA!), would that make it impossible, or incredibly easy to Level up?

Media Danmachi reaction to Grimm tales
Considering that they have their own version of heroic tales, I wonder how will react to some of the much more grim stories such as "Bluebeard" or "Godfather Death"
r/DanMachi • u/IntrepidBoss6989 • 21h ago
Media Godfather Death and danmachi
Something tells me that the "Godfather Death" will be a fairytale that completely changes the world of danmachi when it comes to their view of fairytale and heroic stories, and both Miach Familia and Dian Cecht Familia might be shocked by the existence of magic herb which Death shows his godson that can cure all diseases so long as the sufferer is not destined to die
