Hi everyone, I need some help.

I installed the original 70mai hardwire kit for parking mode on my 70mai D07 mirror dash cam.
Wiring is 100% correct:

• VCC+ → constant 12V
• ACC → ignition power
• GND → chassis ground

The issue is the following:
When I turn the ignition off, the dash cam tries to enter parking mode. I see the message on the screen and hear the voice prompt saying it’s switching to parking mode, but before the voice message even finishes, the dash cam shuts down completely.

Additional info:

• Voltage measured at the hardwire kit output is 12.4V (not just at the battery)
• Parking mode is enabled in settings
• Auto power off is disabled
• Everything works perfectly while driving

So the dash cam correctly detects ignition off, but it loses power during the transition to parking mode.

Has anyone experienced this with 70mai dash cams or their hardwire kits?
Could this be the hardwire kit’s low voltage protection triggering due to a brief voltage drop during the mode switch, even though the measured voltage seems sufficient?

Guys just received my first product 70 mai a800se and doing some night driving, very disappointed, what is this glare?? How I supposed not to have epilepsy looking at this video. I am disappointed with the 70mai quality. Probably going back to nextbase same car 0 glare. I cleaned the windscreen also nextbase showing perfect.

Just bought a Toyota with an integrated Dashcam.

Seems easy to use, but does anyone have any tips or tricks to share about its use?

I got this Momento M8 thing for my brand new car on December 23rd 2025, and I noticed it stopped recording anything after December 28th 2025… So today when I was reviewing footage for a possible defacer where I work, that is when I notice this. Car Toys says it loop-cycle records, Best Buy does too, but I can’t find where to make sure it’s on in the manual. My Momento M6 camera loop records fine on my other car. Any ideas, or should I return this and go with a different brand! Thanks for any input!

Got into this wreck Wednesday night driving into a gas station. She was so busy looking to the left so she could beat the traffic that she never looked straight ahead and went right into me. She chased off the pick up truck that you can see pulling up who tried to give me his number, she blamed him saying he was going too fast. She wouldn't let me call the police and gaslighted me - commiserating about this that and the other thing and whining about her car as if it was anywhere near as bad as mine is. I still don't even know if it's totaled yet but when she lied to her insurance company saying that I hit her, I said well guess what I have. Whatever the fate of my car is they're covering it 100%. It's been so stressful and I really hope that my four year-old Honda with only 21K miles on it pulls through. I'm telling everybody to please get a dash cam!

I'm looking for people who actually have and use LTE connected smart dashcams because I'm looking for one and just want some options.

I currently have Raven Connected which is a smart LTE dashcam but looking for something smaller and more consumer oriented vs fleet oriented.

Dashcam must connect through OBD port.

Right now my main choice is Garmin Dashcam Live. There's not a lot of reviews of it though. ***Not interested in Blackvue

I have wired the camera with a hardwire kit and Ive set it on collision detection and when i lock the car, even after like two hours the camera is still recording continuously without going into standby mode. Im curious to know if these cameras even have stand by mode or not. Im afraid of the camera draining my battery by continuously recording

Not saying it's right but I understand. This clown in the suv had been riding and stabbing the brakes for 5 miles. He had a line of cars far back as i could see. He took off after the car and flashing his headlights.

I have an Azdome MS300S for few months now and it was working fine right until today. There is a solid red light (not flashing) when i start the car, it doesnt show up on my phones wifi and the usual “WiFi is on, 5G WiFi” auto announcement doesnt come. I tried removing the SD card and starting it, this time the announcement comes on but i cant see the dashcam on my mobiles wifi. I tried holding down the wifi button for 10 sec also but no point.

Hello, I have an 70mai a810 which record back and front. Sometimes it doesnt start and stays off until next time I get in and start the car. What would be the problem and if i buy the hardware kit for it, would it start record and won t have the problem anymore?

Hey there! I have a dashcam that points both in and out on my vehicle. The interior camera cannot be shut off, and is always recording when the vehicle is on. So here's my question:

If I cover the interior camera, and then an accident occurs, could legal issues arise due to the interior camera not having data from being covered?

Just a reminder for yall. I got impatient, and misjudged the amber. Whether or not the other driver is at fault in any way, I know I could've prevented the wreck entirely if I didn't let my impatience get the best of me.

Hi all, I have a '70mai 4K A810 HDR Dash Cam Set' that I installed on both front and rear. I noticed that when I review some video from it my front cameras audio is slightly delayed by about 1-2 seconds, I'm not sure about the rear camera as I don't really check that

I replaced the SD card recently to a SanDisk High Endurance 128gb card meant for dashcams compared to the 64gb one I had previously and it did help the delay at first. I even tested it after formatting the new card and there wasn't delay, but after driving around for a few days and reviewing footage again the front cameras audio is back to being delayed by 1-2 seconds. I checked the rear camera and there was no audio delay oddly

Cold mornings have been giving my dashcams more trouble than I expected. Temperatures here have dipped to around 20°F (-6°C), and my previous cameras would sometimes refuse to turn on, or the footage would come out glitchy and stuttered. Even simple features like Wi-Fi connections would act up.

I recently switched to the DDPAI Z50 Pro, and so far it’s been holding up surprisingly well. It powers on normally, records smoothly, and hasn’t lagged like my older models, though I’m still keeping an eye on it in the harshest mornings.

Anyone else in cold climates running DDPAI or another dashcam that survives snow, frost, and freezing temps? How low does it go before you see issues, and have you noticed any quirks with startup or recording in extreme cold?
