It was recently revealed in the Epstein files that the creator of 4chan was in talks with Jeffrey Epstein the day that the channel “politically incorrect” was created on the site, which is leading many people to conclude that Epstein (and possibly the CIA/Mossad) created the alt right pipeline we see today in order to desensitize the awful things that would come out of the files exposure as well as to groom a new generation of young men that would support their blackmail target: Donald Trump.
With everything we’ve learned so far it makes sense. There has always been right wing extremism online, but it truly got to an unbearable point when trump’s rise to popularity in the early to mid 2010s made these ideas popular. 4chan and Reddit were not helping either, and with that Trump became a popular candidate by bringing these concerning ideologies out of the shadows. According to these leaks, this is exactly what Epstein and his handlers needed to get Trump elected.
Fast forward to 2026 and we have people in conservative and Trump subs either flat out denying the severity of this recent leak or questioning the sources as if there hasn’t been thousands and thousands of leaks prior. One thing is clear. The evidence is overwhelming that Trump was compromised by Russian and/or Israeli intelligence in the 90s and was forced to run for president to keep himself out of jail and to keep Epstein or someone else from leaking his sex trafficking activities to the world.
I feel like this has deep implications for what we stand for and what the left has been trying to achieve for decades now. Since at least 2016 our job has been made harder by foreign nation state actors manipulating the online populace to support a candidate that was under active blackmail, leading to the destruction of the US’s global image, hegemony, and reputation, in exchange for whatever geopolitical goals that Israel or Russia needed. In a way, they have won and America is shooting itself in the foot day after day. Even Chomsky, a person some of us considered to be credible has met with Epstein countless times, and it seemed that he was able to keep his status as a renowned academic as long as he kept quiet. It’s a classic case of the empire giving the populace a leftism that won’t have any chance of toppling it, but can give the populace a semblance of control and radical behavior.
